This is a local family restaurant sering some of the best crab cakes in Maryland. Nothing fancy, just a good salad bar and people serving your needs. Can't go wrong here.

Heard this place had great crab cakes. Unimpressed by what others say is a great crab cake. Restaurant needs to be gutted and redone. Looks old and dirty and I felt like I was sitting with couple next to us. Save your money and time and find another place to eat. I cannot honestly recommend this one.

Love the jumbo lump crab cakes, crab imperial, and cream of crab soup. (See a theme here?) As a lifelong resident of Annapolis I have had the aforementioned dishes from countless restaurants as we'll as homemade and they are the best. Their crab imperial topped potato skins are great too! The portions are very generous and I always have at... More

This restaurant may not be fancy or glamorous but their fried seafood rivals that found in a New England restaurant and NO ONE MAKES A BETTER JUMBO LUMP CRABCAKE! The fresh vegetables, particularly the green beans are also delishous. Better to go any time other than the summer months as the Annapolis tourists have found this spot.

We enjoyed the crab cakes and the fries were delicious. The salad bar was limited but had all we needed. Both of cream of crab and md crab soup were excellent. The prices were very reasonable and the place was pack. Go for the good food not the atmosphere.

Edgewater Restaurant, in Edgewater, MD, is a smaller hometown restaurant that has received many rave reviews from locals. Visited on Sunday evening before Christmas with family. Restaurant seemed to be fairly busy which I take as a good sign. Menu prices were very comparable to other establishments in the area for similar items. Upon walking into the restaurant we noticed... Our party was totally impressed by the great crab cakes here. I have never seen or eaten one that was so much crab and so little filling. There was almost no filler in these crab cakes. I ordered a single cake and it was more than enough for my meal. The wine list was very nice. There is no pretense... More

You would think this place was on the water based on the photos of their website, but it isn't. It's a single family house on a main drag that was converted to a "restaurant". When you walk in, someone in the back at the register and by the kitchen door yells to greet you (rather than walking to the front... More

Other than needing to expand and update the dining areas, this restaurant is a nice little gem located in an area that is in great need of good restaurants. The service is friendly, the food portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. Their Wednesday night crab cake special will pack the parking lot, so plan on waiting for a... More

We had lump crab cakes here and the crab had little flavor. We asked the waitress if it was Maryland lump crab. She said almost with pride, "we haven't served Maryland lump crab in 15 years"! The crab is from Indonesia. I don't understand why people rave about these crab cakes. They lack the "sweet" taste of the Chesapeake Maryland... More
