Chic, contemporary décor. Good service. Menu choices seemed limited. The poached chicken was pretty bland until you add jalapenos. The arctic char(think salmon) was good but overcooked and dry. The apple pie and ice cream for dessert was the highlight of the meal.

Great service; good food with a very interesting and varied selection. I like the modern atmosphere at this restaurant and the odd artwork on the walls.

The organic options , along with casual yet elegant decor, a broad wine list, and the ability to basically watch your meal be prepared, only adds to the ambiance of this little place. I can hardly wait to go again.

Artsy ambience, wood fired pizza oven, cozy! Ordered kale caesar-lemony, garlic dressing, finely chopped kale and Parmesan sticks to accompany salad. Ordered spicy sausage pizza, crispy crust with a little chew, rich sauce, nice sausage with a bite! Hubby got the calzone...with sausage and fresh mozzarella and a side of rich winy tomato sauce. The crust was nicely bready and... More

My parents and I are always searching for a good place to stop for lunch on our way to the beach. Easton, being at the half way point, seemed like a good place to stop so we decided to try Out of the Fire based some excellent reviews. Our first favorable impression was of a part of Easton that we... More

Out of the Fire has a splended decor and a friendly staff. The owner even stopped by our table to see if we were taken care of! Best of all is the food. The menu is interesting, and the meal was delicious. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and plated in an appetizing fashion. My pasta was delicious, too.... More

I'd like to be able to review how the food was but alas, we didn't get to have any. We arrived around 6pm and while the restaurant was somewhat busy, there were still plenty of open tables. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. The hostess seated us then we sat for the better part... More

We came upon this restaurant to have lunch on our way through Easton. It was very good service and very good food. We decided to share among three of us: white pizza, curry chicken salad and a smoked turkey sandwich with brie cheese and bacon. All were very tasty and plentiful to eat. We left over some of the food,... More

Hubby and I came for our anniversary dinner in August 2014. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. I had grilled squid for an appetizer and then shrimp and grits for dinner. Wow! The squid was different, but delicious. It did have a hidden spice that really made it great. The pairing of it with the fennel... More

A last minute decision to go downtown and eat out. We love OOF. Y can have everything from salad to pizza to major wonderful full meals. I went for the Kale chaser salad. Really different from a traditional chaser, and delicious. He had the special, papperdel Verdi. Wonderful. Add good beer and wine selections and the bread! And you have... More
