We went to this restaurant for a meal during our first kid free weekend in a long time. With high expectations, I thought this place basically met them. Atmosphere was fun, busy, but not crazy. Service was good. Food was excellent. Food portions were a bit too small for the price category but I can forgive that since at least... More

We have been coming here for the last four years on our annual bicycling trip. Have always enjoyed our dining adventures here. I really enjoy the many unique combinations that they use up and down their menu. There were two standouts on out last trip - grilled squid, mussels- these were not prepared with the usual ingredients and were outstanding... More

Met some local friends here for dinner. The decor is colorful and comfortable but an oddly-shaped space. We started with the tomato and red pepper soup, which was fresh and delicious. The heirloom tomato salad was excellent. The tomatoes were locally grown and perfectly seasoned. I very much enjoyed the kale/quinoa salad. Several had the trout and said it was... More

The service was pretty slow. Our drinks an food were too expensive to be that bad. The portions were way too small for the price. I kept thinking "is this some kind of joke?" The food took almost an hour to come out. The atmosphere was stuffy and comical; if you're paying that much, you'd think they'd have some classier... More

This resturant was filled with local art and had a cozy feel from the moment we walked in. The lunch menu was varied - from hangar steak to kale salad. Everyone was incredibly nice with great service. Our group had the blackened - citrus shrimp salad with corn, olives and strawberries; turkey/brie -applewood bacon sandwich; and quinoa/kale salad. Dessert was... More

During a biking trip along the Chesapeake Bay area we stopped in Easton for dinner. The reviews and vegetarian choices led us to Out of the Fire. Great choice. The appetizers of fritters was sufficient for two. The arctic char was perfectly prepared - moist and succulent with a crisp skin. The pappardelle in a pesto sauce was al dente... More

Chic, contemporary décor. Good service. Menu choices seemed limited. The poached chicken was pretty bland until you add jalapenos. The arctic char(think salmon) was good but overcooked and dry. The apple pie and ice cream for dessert was the highlight of the meal.

Great service; good food with a very interesting and varied selection. I like the modern atmosphere at this restaurant and the odd artwork on the walls.

The organic options , along with casual yet elegant decor, a broad wine list, and the ability to basically watch your meal be prepared, only adds to the ambiance of this little place. I can hardly wait to go again.

Artsy ambience, wood fired pizza oven, cozy! Ordered kale caesar-lemony, garlic dressing, finely chopped kale and Parmesan sticks to accompany salad. Ordered spicy sausage pizza, crispy crust with a little chew, rich sauce, nice sausage with a bite! Hubby got the calzone...with sausage and fresh mozzarella and a side of rich winy tomato sauce. The crust was nicely bready and... More
