We are vegetarians and their menu had options for us. We questioned our waitress on each item we were interested in to make sure it was vegetarian. Vegetarian watermelon gazpacho came with ham as a granish - really?!?!?! I ordered my veggie sandwich with the spicy sauce on the side since I can't eat spicy. My sandwich came with the... More

The majority of the menu is based around French dishes, but they also have a lot of American and Seafood type foods too. The Raw bar was a neat addition with fresh Oysters shucked right on the spot. All the salads looked appetizing.. Especially the chopped chicken salad. Very tasty.

We sat outside on the patio for our ladies lunch. I was pleased to be in the shade of the umbrella although it wasn't hot at the time. My back was to the road but I didn't notice the cars going by. The service was great, but it must be mentioned that the restaurant wasnt very full. They accommodated special... More

Excellent appetizers [Vietnamese spring roll]. Very good house salad. Fresh seafood. Excellent service, nice atmosphere with very good micro-brew selection [in bottles], as well as on tap.

Wide variety of seafood and steaks prepared with innovative ingredients and in innovative ways. Prices a bit high especially for certain oysters.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and am sad to say it has declined substantially. While the wood-grilled trout is still a fabulous dish that may bring me back someday, I am inclined to stay away now. When they changed their menu to include small plates, I thought that was great. I tried the french breakfast radish with fresh... More

They were very accommodating as I wanted to watch the French Open and they had one TV beside the bar so I could see it from the booth we sat in. Vichyssoise soup was perfect consistently and good flavor. Hubby has pastrami sandwich and I tried the special salad. Nice table clothes and nice, professional waitress. Both good. We were... More

You can't go wrong with a reservation at Brasserie Brightwell. This gem is a great place for dinner with friends. The steak salad--terrific; the lamb sliders--succulent and tasty; the steak frites--always perfect. The menu is not overwhelming, and you'll be able to find something for every taste. Save room for cappuccino and dessert. Another big plus is the wait staff.... More

Were die hard gastropub fans and the food here didn't disappoint one bit! We had their escargot, oysters and fried chicken... All delicious and excellent drinks.

Our 3rd time here and it's still one of my top choices for dinner in all of Maryland. The food is fresh and prepared well and the service is always accommodating.
