What a treat!

We went out New Year's Eve to what I have been told is "The Best Restaurant in Easton." Well - I have my favorites but was curious about this claim so thought we would try it for this special occasion. So happy we did. It was intimate, creative and such a treat. We visited the Bartlett pear inn the week between christmas and New Years. My sister, lorriedevine, recommended it to us and joined us for a truly enjoyable evening. We were greeted by one of the owners"Alice", what was so lovely and happy to have us there for dinner. We were seated at a table right next to the fireplace, very... More

First visit 9/10/14 for our 31st Anniversary and hands down the best meal we had in 2014! Ate in probably 60 restaurants from Boston to Baltimore/DC to St Martin last week. Jordan & his team are remarkable and work miracles in their kitchen. The pride in their product & service delivery is evident. Hands down, best meal of 2014!! Looking... More

We felt like we paid for an experience, and the service. Not the food! We left hungry, but paid triple what we would have at our favorite Easton Restaurant! The plates were very small! We love great food and do not mind paying for it! The food was not worth the price! The service, perfect! Atmosphere, very pleasant!

We had our anniversary dinner at the Bartlett Pear and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the tasting menu but selected which dishes we preferred to try from the menu and included the wine pairing. The food is delicious and creatively presented. For example the Octopus Garden appetizer had perfectly grilled rounds of octopus in... More

Visited with friends who have retired in Easton and have been scouting restaurants for the past six months. In our five day visit we had nine meals, five lunches and four dinners in different restaurants in the area. The Bartlett Pear Inn was by far the best of the meals and could be put up against any place in the... More

This past Saturday ,10/11, we hosted my prep school roommates and spouses in The Inn's private dinning room for a long over due get together, of great conversation, food and wine. Both the Chef/Owner and our waiter-Greg were very attentive to all requests and made very good suggestion as well as great wine pairings. We started with the Inn's designer... More

There was a time when the chef/owner would deliver some dishes personally and when the pasta dishes reighned supreme but it seems everything that made the place special and different have morphed into average and it has fallen off our must do list.

We had a delicious tuna appetizer followed by a lovely mushroom pasta main dish. We were not over impressed by the wine list. Our server was intrusive, interrupting our conversation continually and excessively to ask if everything was fine.

My wife and I joined friends for dinner last week at Bartlett Pear Inn based on the restaurants excellent ratings. We were biking around Maryland Eastern Shore and we're looking for excellent cuisine after a day of biking. For the appetizer, I ordered the octopus and was shocked to see that the appetizer included only 2 small pieces of octopus.... More
