We had a delicious tuna appetizer followed by a lovely mushroom pasta main dish. We were not over impressed by the wine list. Our server was intrusive, interrupting our conversation continually and excessively to ask if everything was fine.

My wife and I joined friends for dinner last week at Bartlett Pear Inn based on the restaurants excellent ratings. We were biking around Maryland Eastern Shore and we're looking for excellent cuisine after a day of biking. For the appetizer, I ordered the octopus and was shocked to see that the appetizer included only 2 small pieces of octopus.... More

We had an incredible dinner with friends. They truly provide a dining experience. Food and staff fabulous. I had recommended it from Pryor trip and they surpassed my expectations. Everyone loved it.

Due to some confusion, our group came late to the restaurant even though we had reservations. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and even gave us a private room. We enjoyed some good wine and delicious bread and ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad with 300 year old balsamic. It was delicious. I had the chicken with figs as my... More

We (a couple) split a salad and shared a glass of wine and a bowl of berries plus one half-cup of coffee along with a Dover sole for two. With tip the bill was altogether too high at $141! The bread had a crunchy crust but doughy and undercooked in center. Sole was very fresh but too small (12 -... More

We had the same menu as the fellow called Tanchigui had. The grilled baby octopus and braided pork belly were exceptional. The best entree dish was the pan seared sea scallops but the duck breast was very tough; the skin was not crispy at all. The peach jubilee wasn't that great, either. I think it would be better to order... More

We saw a review for BPI in the Sunday Sun last week and decided to stop in for a cocktail on our way to dinner. We were instantly disappointed that we were not staying for dinner but, we truly enjoyed being mesmerized by the bartender crafting unique drinks for a crowded bar. The food going by our wandering eyes looked... More

Excellent all throughout - the food, the presentation, the servers, the chefs and the decor. I had the tasting menu which included Grilled Baby Octopus,Braised Pork Belly, Duck breast, Pan Seared Sea Scallops and Peach jubilee. A great way to celebrate a special occasion!

I had dinner and breakfast at Bartlett Pear Inn. Jordan, the owner- chef, is a very talented, creative and personable chef. Everything I had was delicious and beautifully presented. When I mentioned that I did not eat wheat, he prepared a gluten-free brioche for me. Service is very professional as well. Attentive without being intrusive. As a single diner, I... More
