Had dinner here while in Cumberland for the weekend. They have tables outside, which were perfect since it was really nice & sunny, but there was a nice breeze being between the tall buildings. The hostess and waitress were both very helpful and friendly. The dishes were ordered were delicious. My friend got the Prime Rib and I got the... More

My husband and I recently went here for lunch for the first time. He ordered the turkey & apple wrap with slaw, I ordered the cheeseburger with mac and cheese. The side choices for sandwiches were slaw, fruit, applesauce, chips and salsa, or mac & cheese. I asked the server specifically if the chips and salsa were homemade. She said... More

We sent an email and invited CatMom (Sheri Nicol) to the restaurant to see how we make the bechamel sauce for our macaroni & cheese. To date she has not responded to our invitation. We wish she would see that we did not LIE as she has claimed. Sheri is welcome into our kitchen anytime to see how we prepare... More

Both our lunch choices were fresh and very flavorful. Even the mac & cheese was very tasty. The coffee had been sitting too long on the burner and was acidic.

We recently took our leadership to City Lights for lunch as in a group we all had a varierty of dishes. One dish out of 10 was not quite right but they quickly fixed the issue. Everyone ate all of their meal. Several of us had soup and appetizers as well. Their corn chips and salsa was delicious. I must... More

City Lights in Downtown Cumberland, MD is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. They have some of the best waitresses around! I always have great & friendly service. Good food, too. If you're lucky enough to be there on a day they have blackberry cobbler, get it. I like, too, that they support the arts and every... More

Had dinner on a Saturday night, had martinis in the bar downstairs, nice cozy bar. Dinner was steak, salad and veggies. Nicest restaurant in town, we felt. No Grey Goose but had Ketel One. Great service.

My husband and I both had a cup of crab soup. I really liked it and my husband was not as enthusiastic about it. I had a portobello salad with very fresh greens that was perfect. My husband had a white fish sandwich which he enjoyed. We ended our meal with a blackberry cobbler that we shared. The atmosphere was... More

Extensive wine list, paired with selectable cheese plates with a vast array of selections. Dinner is nicely done with fresh ingredients and presented very well. Very reasonable pricing. Right downtown on the pedestrian mall. A great relaxed dinner spot.

I was in Cumberland and wanting lunch. I walked by and this looked good, plus the reviews were reasonable. I had simple stuff - soup and a burger. I specifically asked for the burger medium, and it came out what I would describe as medium rare. They claimed that was "their" medium. I suppose it wasn't a real problem, but... More
