We were recommended here by locals - solid Italian menu with good service. I had the Bolognese pasta - exceptionally good and rich. We wished that my husband and I had split it because it was so good and the portion was huge. He enjoyed his mixed seafood with pasta but thought the Bolognese was better. We will definitely return.

There are a number of choices for dinning while in Cumberland, but if you have only one night you should consider Ottaviani’s. this restaurant looks and feels like a Ristorante in the heart of Italy. We were seated under a picture of Antonio Ottaviani the grandfather of the present Managing Partner and several of the family members all making sure... More

We usually reserve this eatery for special occasions as we are nomrally on a budget and splurge every once in a while. But it is worth every penny from the salad to dessert. Very relaxing atmosphere.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews on this site for this restaurant you can imagine our disappointment when the food was so-so and the service - very slow. We were staying at a wonderful lodge in Frostburg and wish we had dined at the Lodge whose food is so much better. I ordered the Pollo Abruzzo - although the... More

Our food was great. We all loved the trendiness and the relaxed atompsphere. Were able to bring in our wine and no corkage!

Ristorante Ottaviani is the real deal. Never have we been disappointed in all the years we have dined there. The Pollo Abruzzo, I agree, would be my request for a last meal!

My husband and I enjoyed our meal here. The food was good and service was good as well. Wish they were open for lunch as well.

in the downtown pedestrian mall. Reasonably priced, friendly service. Wife had spaghetti and meatballs, sauce was excellent, pasta well cooked, but she found the meatballs a little too dense for her taste. I had cioppino, which was excellent.

Nice little neighborhood Italian restaurant with good food and wine list. A little noisy but not enough to keep you away. I had the sausage with peppers and onions over penne pasta. Might be a little spicy for some tastes. My wife had Bolognese sauce with penne pasta and she finished everything on her plate. We shared a bottle of... More

We're visiting Cumberland from DC, and we loved this place. It was cold outside, but warm and cozy inside. There was even live piano, AND he took requests, and he even played Gershwin. Awesome.
