First time there and so easy to get on and off the highway, great food and what a deal, sand, chips, drink and ice cream for low price. And the ice cream is really good.

We found this place on Trip Advisor and I looked forward to it all day. The ice cream was wonderful, the establishment décor was nostalgic, and although we didn't have a sandwich, they looked great. My disappointment came from the service. The manager took our order and I literally felt like she was irritated to even answer a question I... More

They have an extensive menu of sandwiches, but, when it comes to ice cream the choices are limited. The day we stopped by, we could chose chocolate, vani5, sugar free strawberry, mallo cup, or pink grapefruit sorbet. Sadly, my cup of chocolate came with a gray hair. YUCK!!

Nice downtown location. We always go there for ice cream when we are in town. Nice staff. They have sandwiches too. Part of the backdrop for their bar came from an old local pharmacy, I believe.

They only have three flavors a day because all their frozen custard is made fresh daily, so you know you're getting good quality! It had such a creamy and rich texture and the flavor was amazing! If you are in Cumberland you HAVE to stop here for a cone or a sundae! You wont be disappointed!

Ate an evening meal and a lunch. Ate the Special meal each day. Found them to be excellent, followed by a favorite ice cream treat.

If you truly enjoy ice cream, then a trip to the Queen City Creamery is worth the drive to Cumberland, Md. They are the blue ribbon winners again this year in national competition for the nation's best ice cream. They also have great sandwiches, salads and home made soups.

My issue wasn't with the ice cream itself but the lack of flavors. I asked to have scoop of vanilla with coffee. What I got was a vanilla milk shake with a shot of espresso. It was ok. Prices were good. The kids enjoyed their ice cream. Placing the order is slow but they have several people making the orders.... More

Our first stop in Cumberland and we tried this based on a Trip Advisor review. We were totally impressed with the small soda shop feel and some of the best custard we've ever had!
