My grandson Wyatt and I each are enjoying an after school snack I had chocolate and is enjoying tangerine sorbet Ride on!
We went for some of the ice cream posters have raved about and had the hot fudge cake pictured at the ordering counter ... The image reminded me of the hot fudge cakes we used to get when we would stop in to a Hot Shoppe on the way home from a night out to a movie or some such.... More
This is an honest to goodness family owned and operated ice-cream shop. Lost of old standbys and some local specialties. They also serve breakfast and lunch. But you got to try the ice-cream… It’s sooooo good!
They only offer three flavors, vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the day. The flavor of the day can be found on their website. I got the vanilla which tasted fresh and was very creamy. A perfect end to my trip!
I ate here a few months ago and insisted on eating here again if ever in Cumberland. The ladies are as nice as the food is fantastic not to mention the ice cream. I wish they stayed open a little later!
The service was excellent and it appeared family operated. The ice crème was delicious and the Reuben SW was hot, and fresh...visited at least 3 times in the two days we were in Cumberland. also recommended to others at our bed and breakfast, bikers on the trail etc.
The ice cream and shakes are worth the trip if you are in the area. The sandwich type menu is nothing to write home about. Prices are okay, a little steep for this part of Maryland where everything else is so affordable.
The QC Creamery is a must-visit spot in town. In addition to the daily change of ice-cream choices, the restaurant makes great coffee. The food selection includes sandwiches and soups.
We found this place on a side street. The name is no where to be found but it was worth the stop. We were trying it out because of the write up about the ice cream being a custard style like they was they use to do ice cream. We got their special flavor of the month which was tin... More
Sandwiches, coffee, ice cream - the Queen City Creamery has it all! We picked up coffee and sandwiches here in the morning before heading out on the GAP trail. The coffee was good and they had soy milk which was a pleasant surprise. The sandwiches (we had buffalo chicken wraps) were yummy and a great pick-me-up during our bike ride.... More
