Rubber band inside of the kofta kabob. Worst customer service in the world. Will NEVER be back When you originally get the "give me a reason to spit in your food" vibe from the unhappy/rude/disrespectful employees and then you end up w/ a rubber band in your meat kabob...RUN do not walk from Maiwand Kabob The to top it off... This is mostly a carry-out restaurant with a small number of tables which allow you to carry your tray to a seat if you want to eat there. It is located in a shopping center. However, the food is delicious, well priced and call-ahead service is always ready when you arrive and is freshly made. Daily specials are a good... More

The menu has a nice variety and most dishes are excellent. It is a great place for doing carry-out. The lamb chops are particularly good.

As a take-out stop, Maiwand Kabob is a very good choice for their Afghanistani based menu. The food is fresh, well spiced, and the service is fairly fast. We are most fond do the lamb kabobs, the veggie platter and the samosas. Conveniently located in mid Columbia. Best to call in your order to avoid the wait.

Attractive restaurant on Columbia's east side. The vegetables, especially the pumpkin, are outstanding. Chicken and lamb entrees are also good. The falooda milkshake with Middle Eastern spices is a rare treat. People visit this restaurant just for the falooda. The wait staff is extremely accommodating. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Part of... More

One of the best kabob rolls I have ever had. I had chicken tikka and beef rolls, they were not too spicy.the price was also reasonable.

I discovered this place last year, and have enjoyed it for take out food. I like the veggie platter, but the lamb and chicken are also good. The past few times I've eaten the food it has been too spicy for me. I don't know if they have made it spicier or what. If they could tone down on the... More

The Good: Ample Parking -Fresh Food -Generous Portions -The price is right -Very Delicious Food The Not so... More

Wow, I saw this restaurant a few times and wandered in for lunch one day out of curiosity. I was surprised and satisfied. I ordered the chicken tikka. The portion was very large. The chicken was very tender and tasty, the salad fair, the rice had raisins in it (a pleasant discovery), and the naan bread was soft and fresh.... More

Maiwand Kabob recently opened a new location at 6131 Columbia Crossing Circle. We visited it there tonight. This is in the shopping center with a Target and a Big Lots. It is a little bit hidden, down towards where Sleepys is located. The food was the same high quality as at the other location we have visited in the Harpers... More
