We come here three or four times a year, whenever my husband craves Japanese food. I usually get the bento box and can have a few pieces of several choices. Husband enjoys their raw fish selections. Tasty miso soup too.

Don't waste your time eating here. The sushi was the worst I have ever had, and it smelled disgusting as well. My boyfriend and i now feel sick after or meal. For all of the other sushi places in Columbia with similar prices, it is not worth a visit. Check the yelp reviews! They are much more accurate!

Absolutely terrible sushi. Got the california roll, cucumber roll and the soft shell crab roll. Miso soup and goyza for appetizers. Long story short: not fresh (anything) cucumber and california rolls tasted and smelled like raw stinky fish. Goyza is bizarre to say the least and the miso soup was bland and completely tasteless. For the same prices you'll want... More

This place is my favorite Japanese place. The bento is the BEST. My son, who loves sushi, loves the sushi here. He has something diffenent every time and says its really good every time. I like the bento and the Teriyaki salmon is great. I highly recommend it. The interior of this place isn't fancy but then again I go... More

I have been going to Hanamura for about 10 years, and for my money it is the best sushi in Columbia (and I eat a LOT of sushi). Everyone there is very nice and attentive (and service is far more personal than the other sushi places in the area in my opinion), the fish is always fresh, the special rolls... More

Hanamura is my favorite sushi in the area. I have been going there for years. The service is always excellent, as is the food. I usually order a bento box with a roll. I have never had a bad meal here. The miso soup is perfect! I can't say enough about how much I enjoy dining here!

We love this place. They may have the best sushi in this area. Their service is the best. It's a small establishment so I wouldn't recommend it for parties, but if you are on a first date it would be a great place to go. Highly recommended.

Maybe I'm picky. Maybe. But if you're going to pay for food, then I suppose being picky is OK. I've eaten at Hanamura at least a dozen times, so I think I've got a pretty good feel as to what this restaurant offers. What's good about Hanamura? Well, it's located in a bit of a strip mall tucked away nearby... More

I really loved Sushi here! Everybody in my group(all vegetarian) enjoyed the food. We had Healthi Maki, Cucumber and Avocado rolls, Vegetable rolls and Fried Vegetable Maki and all of them were excellant! They were fresh and tasty. We also had stir fried noodles which were superb. And not to forget, their sweet iced tea was very nice - felt... More
