We were in a hurry to get dinner and get to Meriweather but there was not need to worry. Not only did we get our food promptly but the appetizers, entrees, and wine were simply outstanding. The service was personal and very knowledgeable on the food and particularly on the wine. I had a simple Caprese sandwich but it was... More

I'd been told to try duck fat fries when in MD, and got my chance at Victoria Gastro Pub. They were great, but probably not something you should eat often! My entree was pumpkin risotto with pumpkin seeds and shrimp. It was really wonderful. I tried my friend's chicken pick up sticks and WOW what tender chicken. I would definitely... More

At recent dining I had the oysters on the half shell which were superb not only chilled correctly but they were from aquaculture which are fully sustainable and of uniform size. The Burger was the usual very high quality meat and they toast the whole bun on the griddle makes it much tastier. Service should be more pass by and... More

My wife, adult son, and I had a weekday lunch here and had a very satisfying experience. The interior décor is composed of warm hardwoods and decorative fabrics and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. On weekdays the lunch menu carries a couple of brunch items and that was what my son and I ordered. My wife ordered the... More

Having been to before -- we decided to enjoy our anniversary dinner here. - and once again were not disappointed. The ambiance is pleasant for seeing friends, birthday party or romance, and the division of the multiple rooms helps in maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere and keeps noise level down. Our waitress, Jena, was pleasant and attentive. We started with a... More

One of the most unique restaurants I've ever patronized. This was about our 15th visit in the last few years. An extensive wine and beer list, plus a relatively brief but wonderful menu. Lobster grilled cheese sandwich with duck fat fries are a must. Service is generally excellent, but have had a couple of not-so-good waiters.

I've eaten at Victoria's twice - once for lunch and another time (recently) for dinner. The food is excellent. We had the Bucket of Duck Fat Fries with cheese and gravy and the Goat Cheese & Romesco Flatbread. We wanted the Grilled Asparagus starter but they were out (it was Labor Day and they had run out of some of... More

Victoria's is one of our go-to places. The cozy pub ambience, consistently good food, and friendly service make it the perfect place for brunch or a celebratory dinner. Great drinks too!
