Went here twice when visiting Maryland recently. Have nothing but good things to say about it. My friend insisted on getting the duck fat fries (poutine) both times. I had the black angus burger the first time and the espresso rubbed steak the second. Get the steak, totally worth it. I wish I'd had it both times!

If you get nothing else, try the duck-fat fries. Life altering may be a little strong, but it's close. Super friendly staff; excellent beer selection of local and all other craft brews, and the food in general is amazing from the apps to the desert. Favorite happy hour stop; and dinner out with no kids place. Yes, you can bring... More

The restaurant looks like a chain but the food was very good. I had the American Dip (French Dip) and the Roast Beef was very tasty. Could have done with a larger portion. The beer list is long and varied and the wine list pretty good. Service was fine and the place had a good cheery atmosphere. A ways out... More

Delicious crab cakes. A wide selection of craft and bulk produced beers on tap and by the bottle. Cheery ambience and helpful wait staff. Worth a visit.

Five of us had dinner here and everyone of us enjoyed service, food, atmosphere, adult drinks etc. We were seated in a comfortable round table in the back room. I prefer a round table for a larger group. It was so comfy that we stayed longer than expected and had a few extra martinis as well. Our waitress "Season" became... More

On the recommendation of a friend we had dinner for work at the VGP. Wev were strongly suggested and immediately ordered a special dish of fish. After a long wait (20 '), the friendly waitress told us that the dish was finished and we settled for a simple but healthy burger with salad. Even for the wine after a long... More

Kinda upper class for a beer pub/food place, but no complaints. Great beer selection, great cocktail selection, very happening atmosphere every day of the week. I would highly recommend!

This is no simple gastro pub... The quality of everything that comes out of the kitchen is top notch and more than reasonably priced. Don't skimp on the Duck Fat Fries for an appetizer, go all the way with the amazing Poutine (duck confit, duck gravy, and cheese atop the aforementioned fries). Flat iron steak, pork chop, fish, clams, salads,... More

Victoria Gastro Pub in Columbia, Md is an interesting and pleasant but odd dining experience. First, parking was quite a challenge - but that was because this place was packed! We had about a 20 min wait on a Thursday night. I considered this a good sign. The atmosphere is nice, even in the waiting area. When we got our... More

Walked across the street after a long day of travel and flund out that the hotel kitchen was not serving dinner anymore and was pleasently surprised. Had the fish and chips with duck fat fries. Both cooket to perfection. Will deffinately go back on my next stop in town. Very good service.
