The shows are amazing!

We've been going to Toby's for a long time. We've taken our children to see a variety of shows over the years, but also enjoy an evening out together as a couple once in a while. As season ticket holders we agree that the shows are always excellent. The food (buffet style) is usually the same... read more

Let's be honest, the food here was just so-so. They have a fairly decent method to ensure that not everyone slams the buffet at once, but it is not really an all-you-can-eat type experience. If they waited for everyone to fill up, the show would never start. The real experience is the performance, and we were lucky enough to catch... More

I saw last yr with my friend and her dad the show was great! and the food was good also...I went for the dinner show I will say because of the set up and it being a dinner theater and all this would be a great choice for a group, couple of friends or family. The actors in the show... More

Wow, what an awesome night! Good food, good friends enjoying an awesome show. The buffet food was good and plentiful, even offered cheese cake and ice cream for desert. All five of us raved about the food and the performance. The actors did a good job being your servers as well. The story line was very good - Wednesday falling... More

This was my first visit but will not be my last. Everyone involved were pleasent and helpful. The actors rocked! Mixing my old memories with some of today's laughs. The music was very enjoyable. The dinner buffet is acceptable but nothing to rave about. Ask for a birthday sign up card. They will send you a ticket for your birthday.... More

Toby's has the plan down - feeding 150+ people efficiently with a great show. I am not sure characterizing the food as "so so" is accurate. For about $50 a person they offer food and very good very good entertainment. Lots of food (buffet style with an abundance of options and quantities), paying the staff to manage it, plus the... For the second year in a row the community service organization I belong to, Altrusa International of Montgomery County, held a fundraiser at Toby's. Last year we saw a performance of Les Miserables; everyone enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again this year, this time for a performance of Memphis; we were not disappointed. The food... We saw the last showing of Memphis at Toby's Dinner theatre in columbia. I have been there many times and the shows are a local treat. While I look forward to the shows, the food remains average overall. Ribs was offered for the MEMPHIS show (which I was told were good). I chose crusted fish which was surprisingly moist and... Each year I go to Toby's as part of a fundraiser for Morgan State University. This year's show was "Memphis", which I had had the opportunity to see on Broadway. The performance was great! Almost as good as the Broadway version. For the shows that I've seen at Toby's, if you miss the opportunity to see them in a regular... More
