Food and service are very good, Friday is half price wine day making our visit a bargain. The maitre'd makes it a point of knowing his customers and greeting everyone by name.
We called King's Contrivance a couple of days ago or request a vegan meal, prepared with no salt, no sugar, and no oil. They readily said that they could accommodate us. We didn't ask the price of the meal (big mistake). We were cordially greeted and seated. We declined an offer for wine and bread with butter. There was no... More
Excellent food, exceptional service, fantastic environment. There is simply no way to go wrong eating here. Expect a fair price for such good food, service, and setting.
This place is gorgeous!! Atmosphere is spectacular! Service was great! We ate here for the first time for Thanksgiving. The food was very good. I can picture coming here for a special occasion meal (anniversary, birthday, etc) and it being amazing!! The Thanksgiving pre-fixed meal was a little...just okay. I thought the pairing of the entrees & sides were a... More

There are several rooms on different levels as well as a glass enclosed garden room which offers lovely views. The service... More
My husband and I have eaten here several times. The food and service have been outstanding each time.

A small group of us went to lunch here for a special occasion. I avoided the crab based on previous experience and had scallops instead. That dish was very tasty and not too heavy. I also think their bread is wonderful so I skipped an appetizer and focused on the bread. Yum! We shared desserts and the key lime pie... More
Has become overrated over the years. The matte d needs some lessons from Emily Post. The food was average for the price. Service was great; however, went asked to make a skinny margarita they stated that was not an option.
