I recently found this place because of a co-worker and what a gem! The place is small but easy to order a beer or two :). Loved having Jennie wait on us. She was very helpful in deciding on which beers to try and what to see locally. The bathrooms were also very nice and for a pub, some of... More

Menu for food is very limited and not as wide ranging as you would think for a pub, having said that, what they do serve is good. Also, they only serve their own craft beer, but they are good and have a variety of types of beer. (lager, porter, etc) They do serve a variety of well drinks though. Went... More

Recently my wife and dog and I were Phishing down in MD. There isn't much to do with a dog in the sprawltastic area around Merriweather, so we were happy not only to find this place but also impressed by how decent and laid back it was. We sat outside, had a few IPA's, greek salad (loved it), and two... More

Cheap beer and great pizza! I don't know about you, but that seems like a good combo to me. Certain beers are 2 for $4.50. That's usually the price of one! The thin-crust pizza is personal-sized and ranges between $9-$10. They are deceivingly NOT small. I thought I'd need two orders to get full, but one was already more than... More

Reasonable beer prices for their own beers. Excellent service...no one enters without being acknowledged....best pizza....best salad...it is the only place we eat when in Columbia. Outside dining for folks with dogs is very good too. Lots of TVs if you are a sports fan. We have had the same server for all 5 visits, and she gets bonus points for... More

This place gives you what you want. Good beer, good pizza, good prices and good staff. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because it is a bit lacking in the ambiance that I like in a bar but I'm a bit picky. I've been here a bunch of times, got a few cups and will always be back.... More

I liked this pub restaurant. I loved how it was based off of the dog theme. Drinks are great and have great specials too. Pizza was a plus. Not may restaurants like this on the east.

Pub Dog is one of the favorite local watering holes. It is usually crowded at the bar but the tables can be had if you get there before 6pm. Be forewarned: this place is essentially a bar and really loud. I measured more than 85db on my cell phone app. I'm surprised OSHA doesn't require hearing protection for the workers.... More

Thin crust pizza in too many combinations to describe. I had a really garlicky one that was delicious. These are ten inch personal pizzas so everyone can order what they want. You get two mugs of beer, but the mugs are modest sized. It is a great way to share beer with your friends. The place is noisy; a good... More

You get 2 mugs of beer each time you place an order. Don't expect brand names though. Everything name has a dog theme name here. There are beers for every taste and even seasonal ones. The menu is limited to mostly individual pizzas but there's a wide variety of types. They're surprisingly all very tasty with fresh ingredients. The veggie... More
