Had a nice time

Was looking for a place to watch the Orioles on a Saturday. They are one of the few bars that have a Saturday happy hour. $2 miller lite I also had the beer battered onion rings that were outstanding. This is a throwback to the bars I grew up in., lots of wood, not a chain that the people in... read more

This place is a riot! We went on a Tuesday night a week before Xmas – they had karaoke. Some could sing, some couldn’t, but by the end of the evening, no one cared. The bartender was good, the steamed shrimp were huge and juicy, the drinks were generous, and they had Guinness on tap. Here is a sample of... More

We keep going back to this bar. It is a local bar with good food at good price. Not an elegant atmosphere, just basic bar atmosphere. Not a touristy place, lots of locals.

It had been a while since we visited Second Chance during Happy Hour, so we stopped by on a Friday afternoon for drinks, food and some familiar faces. Much to our surprise, most of the familiar faces were gone and the new staff were seriously lacking in people skills. The "What's on Tap" board had a beer I wanted to... More

We were in town with a soccer team for a tournament. We needed a place that could handle our group of 30. They were great. They placed us in a side room of our own. The staff kept the drinks and food coming. They were very organized. This is an old local place. Good beer and drinks. The food was... More

Ended up here because the Thai restaurant nearby was closed. Ended up having a good meal – once we got served. It was “trivia night” and lots of locals were there, so we got ignored for a long time. When the server finally noticed us, she was very apologetic and was very attentive thereafter. There are lots of beers to... More

I happened to come across a review of this place that mentioned its selection of craft beers, so I sought it out. It is really kind of hidden in a strip mall, and had I not sought it out, I certainly never would have encountered it . . . but I'm so glad I did. It had a great neighborhood... More

I am a bar girl-- and i am continually looking for a bar that has great beers and food-- hard to find. This bar makes all its food in house and it shows-- the mozzarella sticks are unreal- like nothing i have had as they are fresh! The fish tacos- well better then any Tex mex place I have had... We were attending a lacrosse tournament in Columbia. We had three hours between games and were looking for a place for a bunch of us to go, cool off and get some food and cold beverages. Someone found the Second Chance Saloon. It really was only 5 minutes from the fields, though a little tricky driving through the planned community... More
