Best we went to in the area

We ate here twice on a recent trip. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were good. The staff was responsive and very accommodating even with a large group. We were a party of 10 for dinner and did not have any issues. If you're in the area this is a great place to stop for a meal.

We have been eating at this restaurant since the day it opened both eat in and take out and have always been satisfied until th last two carry out orders. Drove through Uni of Maryland traffic this evening to pick up a large pizza & wings. Got it home and opened the pizza to find very little cheese, a few... More

We ordered a pizza and side salad. Salad was very good as well as the bread. Pizza was a disapointment. Very bland, no taste. Plus it was over priced.

We had a choice between Italian or bar food, so we chose Italian. Pretty good bread, beer and food. I thought it was a little pricey being from the south. I had lasagne and my son had chicken parmesan. We had a two sodas, one beer and two entrees about $60. I think they charged for second soda??

This restaurant is a little known treasure. It is in College Park, notably absent in good restaurants. But this one is an exception. The food is extremely fresh and the taste is sublime. There is no minestrone soup like it anywhere outside of Italy. The tomato and mozzarella dish is also exquisitely fresh. The wait staff is attentive and friendly.... More

Very large portions and wonderful service. The prices are indicative that this is indeed an Italian restaurant. Each plate is in the 20 dollar range, but it is well worth it. We left feeling full and satisfied with the service. Something worth mentioning: usually when I go to "Italian" restaurants, they play current top 40 hits music which disappoints me.... More

Great service, friendly helpful server. She allowed us to order lunch portions which were so plentiful we took half of it home.

Our pizza wasnt fully cooked and had no taste whatsoever. The Frozen pizzas from pizzahut taste better. We also ordered a appetizer called shrimp bernato no where in the description did it mention it was sweet I paid $13 for an appetizer that served 5 pieces of shrimp and tasted so disgusting. Sweetened shrimp? Yuck. First and last time I... More

Unfortunately restaurant availability in College Park, MD is limited. We went to have lunch before visiting the university. The food was awful and expensive. The so called chicken parmesan, was two chicken cutlets partially covered in cheese and a watery red sauce that tasted like nothing. They will not replace the pasta that it was supposed to come with it... More

Great food, great service, just go! I was visiting DC with some friends, and we were on the lookout for a good place to eat for our last night. We came across Mamma Lucia's Pizza and Pasta on TripAdvisor, noted that it had some really good reviews already, and ultimately chose it as our last dining experience as the trip.... More
