Service slow but adequate. The food was mediocre at it's best. Definitely would not return to this restaaurant again.

The quality of food in this restaurant is outstanding. The minestrone soup, to take a mixed ingredient dish as an example, is memorable. The vegetables are all fresh, they are cooked and tempered to perfection. This would be the best restaurant in College Park. Except for two issues. First, the wait staff is thoroughly inexperienced. Second, the prices are above... More

Our family of 6 dined here after a day of touring DC based on reviews and closeness to the Cherry Hill RV park. The staff was very friendly and very authentic Italian. Liked the clean white table cloths. Restaurant was clean. The bread to start varied with some hard pieces to other soft crusted pieces, not sure why. It all... More

We found this little jewel this afternoon and we're pleasantly surprised. From the parking lot it looked like a casual fast - food type Italian restaurant. When we went in we found crisp white cloth tablecloths and napkins in a clean, nicely decorated place. Our waiter was wonderful. He got our drink order right away and brought out fresh baked... More

Simply the best Lasagna I have ever had, and it was a huge portion! We just fell into the place after staying in the nearby campground, and we super surprised. We also enjoyed the Penne Arribata (sp) as it too was very good. All topped off with a nice $27 bottle of Chianti and it was an outstanding meal. And,... More

First time I have been to any restaurant and the waiter called me Buddy multiple times! He delivered the food and was no where to be seen for over 15 minutes Food was plentiful and fairly tasty. Italian murals in the walls but country music blaring This is a restaurant that doesn't know what it is. High end specials but... More

We've eaten at Mamma Lucia's several times, and each time we went we were made to feel unwelcome. I don't know what the problem is. The food is good, but not so good that I'm willing to ignore bad service to go there.

I've written reviews for this restaurant over the years. Food is still excellent. I had the mushroom ravioli. My family had salmon pasta special, penne rose. Chicken Marsala. All excellent! Potions huge. Quality food. Great service!

We visited this restaurant due to proximity to our hotel. It's right across the street from the Hampton Inn. They brought out a basket of garlic bread with some zesty, yummy oil to dip the bread in. I ordered an appetizer since I wasn't overly hungry. The shrimp renato was perfect. It wasn't overly cooked or soaking in butter. My... More
