I went a number of times when it first opened. Quality of the food is wonderful and the menu has seafood items that you cannot get anywhere nearby. But you pay a lot for what you get. And it is very very slow--not a place to go to if you want a quick lunch. However I have not been back... More

Although this place had been opened for 2 years now, I only just discovered it. I guess it probably open just about the time I moved to DC and I had not yet venture into College Park. Last week when I accidentally come across this Turkish inspired eatery in an article in Eater DC, I have to try it. Partly... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant in the past 6 months. First time my grilled salmon sandwich(no drink, no side) was $11. Good but very small and overpriced. On this visit, I found the price was now up to $12 for a grilled fish sandwich. You could get a sandwich with a side and a drink for $15... More

The food was good but pricy for what you got $12 for a sandwich should be an outstanding sandwich but it was average. I hope they make it but pricy for an out of the way haunt.

Well reviewed, I had to try this backstreet bistro. The food was good if a little pricy. The atmosphere was severe in what must have been an old store of some sort. It is order at the counter, which can be somewhat confusing if you are not familiar with the menu. But the sandwiches were good. I had the soft... More

Visited this place a while back with a friend of mine. I ordered a hake sandwich with aioli sauce and side of hand cut fries. The fries were great can't go wrong with fresh hand cut fries. The hake sandwiches was okay for $12 a sandwich needs to be outstanding.

After having had "gut-buster" burgers the night before, we were looking for something a bit different, and we found it at Fishnet. The food was nicely prepared and tasty. I had the bluefish tacos and arugula salad, and my partner had the salmon sandwich and fries. We ordered our fish grilled (vs. fried). The food came promptly and hot (my... More

I ate there last Wednesday night 7/10/13 - I had read a ton of reviews extolling the place as a pinnacle of fish tacos and sandwiches, maybe that is where I went wrong. I opted the the 15.00 soft crab sandwich, and that is what I got a sandwich. There was way too much bread for the size of the... More

I really liked my hake sandwich with aioli sauce, however, the price was too expensive for a sandwich with no side ($12). Nice atmosphere.

We tried Fishnet on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30. Not busy; no wait. My husband enjoyed his catfish. I had the salmon tacos. He enjoyed his sandwich. The salmon in my tacos was perfectly cooked. However, the cole slaw has a decidedly unpleasant oily flavor so I ate the salmon. Since the tacos have no side dishes and the prices... More
