Food and Drink

My hubby and I were interested in a tex - mex dinner that would keep us on the neighborhood We decided it didn't have to a 5 star restaurant but we were looking for decent food and drink. Azteca had decent reviews for food nothing was said about the drinks though. I had a classic Marguerita and... read more

Very basic Mexican food. Came for lunch with colleagues- service was very slow (waitresses were re-setting empty tables instead of taking orders). Food was very average- we had burritos, fajitas, usual stuff. Chips were very hard and salsa tasted like it was from a giant jar of premade salsa. Burritos came with about a tablespoon of pico de gallo and... More

I bought 2 beef fajitas plates for $32 and I got 6 tortillas and what I thought were small portions. I also bought beef quesadilla entree, a ceviche appetizer and four sodas. The waitress included her own tip of 18% for my single ticket meal four a family of 4 and I had a bill of $80! The food was... More

Went to this restaurant when it first opened and wasn't impressed. Recently returned and feel pretty much the same. I am a vegan and lived in Arizona with great Mexican food everywhere. This is not the place to go for culinary delight, but it is Mexican. The chips are a tad bit greasy, the salsa is watery and lacks good... More

As someone who travels all over the country and spends a lot of time in South Texas I rarely get surprised at Mexican Restaurants anymore, let alone College park, MD. Service here is great and servers actually are able to fully explain all the ingredients contained in meals. Food flavor is surprisingly good and You can actually taste the tequila... More

We were disappointed with the menu selections and the quality of the food. They were out of some ingredients and other combinations were strange to us. I ordered a taco salad and it came with ingredients not listed on the menu and you had to use a magnifying glass to find some that were listed. Not being seafood people, that... More

On both my first and second visits to this restaurant I was promptly greeted and seated in a cordial and professional manner. The wait staff is efficient and helpful with selecting items for allergy-ridden customers. The food is fresh and served hot right out of the kitchen. I had my first pupusa here and I have become addicted to them... More

This standard fare Tex Mex has some surprises up its sleeve. Quite a few seafood dishes and a neat upscale decor, tablecloths and glassware. Been there 2 evenings with husband. Chili Rellanos are good and the fajitas are tasty. This last time we had a combo #4 and the Tacos Azteca.. so much food we had takeout bags! Very weird... More
