Still my favorite Taiwanese Restaurant/Tea House

Still a fan. I was actually making my way to Simply Ovo Veggie, but I did not know that it was closed on Sunday..... So swap vegetarian to Taiwanese food. This place is very packed on a Sunday afternoon. As usual there is not many serving staff, but whoever is on duty (the lone wolf) is... read more

This restaurant is a great place to meet friends over tea or get a hearty hot soup on a winter day. The menu has a wide range of Asian noodle soups, buns (bao), and bubble teas. BUT the table service is absolutely horrible. Long stretches go by without a single wait person appearing on the floor or even looking over... More

The teas did look good but the food seemed only average. Service was quick and efficient. There isn't much choice in College Park, so this seems better than most. Quieter than some other Route 1 dives.

I visited here with some friends after a long day when one of them suggested it. The service was horrible and food ok. The place wasn't packed so I can't understand why service wasn't that good. Everyone's fod came out as if it was a different meal course. The waiter never came back to check on us. We had to... More

I come to Ten Ren's mostly for the tea and get it to-go. However, I have eaten in the restaurant before and the food has always been good. They have a wide selection of teas and excellent bubble tea. A nice change up from Starbucks with a good atmosphere and fair pricing. Always have had good service and restrooms are... More

Ever since I tried this place, I had been a fan. Their Taiwanese snack food and other what most people would just lump it as Chinese suits my palate very well. Back again on a Friday night for my favorite Taiwanese Pork Sausage, Eel with Rice, Deep Fried String Beans, and Crispy Tofu. The price is so economical I would... More

If you're in the mood for a good alternative to Starbucks (which is right down the street), then Ten Ren's has something for you. You can try a bubble tea, or a traditional black or green tea. The girl at the counter walked me through all the options and I loved the green milk bubble tea. If you've never tried... More

I don't even live in the hood, I drove half an hour to eat in this place, because I read a review by some other review buddies in Yelp and decided to try it. The place is a kind of a contemporary Taiwanese Tea House style. The company was established in Taiwan in the 50's, and it operate in 7... More

I love the green apple (in jasmine green tea) and the white peach iced bubble teas. My daughter loves the taro. Any time I am in College Park I stop in for tea, even if I only have time to grab take-out. In fact, I enjoy the Ten Ren tea so much that I have sometimes asked my husband or... More

YUM! Delicious food that comes out piping hot. There's nothing I wouldn't recommend. The bubble tea is the bees knees. It's the real thing and delicious. It's a great place to meet up with people, especially if there are things to be done and talked about. There's plenty of space for eating and typing up notes. You're easily able to... More
