This restaurant has some of those dishes you don't find in most American Indian restaurants like Masala Dosa and Chaat.

Not too impressed here. The food was average, the service was average, and the restaurant was average. Try some place else if want good stuff. This place is just to take away the hunger pangs.

This is a lovely spot for a date. Convenient - right at Friendship Heights Metro. The subdued atmosphere and interesting decor is lovely for a date. The food is delicious and lighter than at some Indian restaurants. Would be a nice place for friends to meet as well.

I have had the chicken and lamb curry lunch boxes before - they come with spinach and rice, all dishes were not too greasy or heavy and flavorful. Beautiful decor with lots of treasures all around the restaurant, which adds to experience.

We live in the neighborhood and like to come here for very good food and drink at a moderate price. We tried the Valentine's specials....yum!

At first tried to sit outside since it was a beautiful night, but found it extremely loud since the restaurant is directly above a huge bus station. Went inside, and should have done that to begin with - its a lovely place. The service was friendly and helpful. I had a tamarind margarita-style drink that made my meal, and there... More

I have eaten here a few times and the food has always been pretty good. Chicken tender and not fatty. Nan bread is soft and fresh. Dals are creamy and flavorsome. Only thing to avoid is the saag paneer. Very few places get this right and unfortunately this place hasn't got there with the texture, spices and flavor. A definite... More

I've always found this Indian restaurant to have good food and an attractive ambiance. At lunch time they have a buffet, which has a good assortment of dishes and is kept well-stocked.

I had always heard really good things about this restaurant. I finally got around to trying it when I had a Groupon. We did the lunch buffet. Food was good. Not outstanding, but definitely good. They are stingy with the Naan bread (which always mystifies me, since you'd think they would rather I fill up on bread than the meat... More

Excellent food. Nice and spicy. Naan was great. Unassuming front but nice decor inside. Service was great and very helpful. Highly recommend. Some of the best and most authentic Indian food I have had in a long time.
