I checked Trip Advisor to find a great restaurant, reasonably priced close to my hotel in Chevy Chase. Found it!!! What a great experience. Delicious kabob dinner. I had chicken, my husband had lamb! The Pita bread was made fresh as we waited for our meal. Small restaurant that had a steady flow of customers for take out meals. We... More

This place has been around for a very very long time and continues to remain the king of kabob in the region. This location in particular seems to be the best. I absolutely love the food here. Thinking about it now makes me want to pick some kabob up to go. I usually get the beef kabob. The sauce that... More

There is a relatively large Persian population in the DC area. Ask any Persian and they will laugh at Moby Dick. Most consider it the "Mc-Kabob" of Persion style Kabob places. Most Persians will say Shamshiry in Tyson's Corner is more authentic and better quality. I'm not Persian but I like Moby Dick much better. Every time I go, I... More

I really enjoyed my lunch at this little place. I was dining alone and they really made me feel welcome. Very attentive. The kabab I had was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The place was very busy but kept very clean. The long line told me it would be good, but I was really surprised how good.

This is an extremely casual place, but it is fast and good. We were told the wait at the Lebanese Taverna would be an hour, so we came here and had similar food, right away, and probably much cheaper. We had some excellent hummus and flat bread and then we had chicken kabobs. They came with rice and grilled tomatoes... More

Had to work but still wanted to treat a dear young family member to dinner at our house. Picked up 3 kabob dinners that were ready in 10 min and was home serving one of her favorites in 15 minutes. Always great food, well prices and you must try! We r regulars as our guest had been growing up here....four... More

We live in the area and have been to the Bethesda Moby Dick several times. Their food has generally been good and our first experience with the swordfish kabob was positive. The second time we ordered the swordfish it was extremely overcooked and also was not fresh. We brought the overcooking to the attention of the cashier and he said... More

Good value and good food. It is exactly what I want at times and they have a carry out menu which I like.

Excellent Kabobs and fresh Persian bread. Inexpensive and excellent. Lunch or Dinner. Carry out if you can't deal with the basic decor.

Have gone here many times and it can't be beat for a quick and tasty meal. Humus is excellent as is the eggplant appetizer. My wife & I usually split the platter that contains a skewer each of chicken and tenderloin. More than enough to feed us along with the appetizers. Friendly and efficient staff.
