Great Take out Kabobs!

Get the Lamb with the salad. The Chicken and Beef are also good. Try the Parisian Sweets too. Yummy! This was a great meal with friends and we were happy to have found this place. We will go again next time we are in town.

A mouse in the house: 2 weeks ago an while waiting for our order, my wife noticed something rolled next to my foot, 1st she thought it’s a piece of meat the fall off the dish. I look down and saw this cute mouse standing by the wall. As a curtesy I didn't say anything, finished the food and left.... More

Even though the food comes out quite quickly, it's a lot better than the usual fast food. Chicken and steak, kabob style, is tender and tasty. Served on rice or bread with a Greek salad, honeyed yorgurt, onion, and greens. The fresh-baked flat bread can't be beat. No alcohol (who cares). Multiple locations in the DC area, but the Bethesda... More

We did not eat at the restaurant but we ordered a "take away". The food was very good . Their Lamb kabobs were cooked right and very tasty. Their fish and lamb "curry" and their bread was very good. I would recommend the food outlet to anyone visiting Chevy Chase. We ordered on the phone and the food arrived at... More

Little hole in the wall, several in and around, best kabobs you will find -- the chicken is marinated in something I wish i had at home - the bread is worth the visit. Very inexpensive, you can get large portions/platters for parties - but avoid the veggie plate, all rice, not enough veggies.

In need of a quick dinner for seven, we tried Moby Dick's takeout menu. We consumed salad, pita and hummus, various kabobs (chicken and kubideh), and tzaziki sauce. All were tasty, but I could get along without the kubideh. You get a lot of food for your money.

after ordering takeout here twice a month for ten years, the counterman still acts like he has never met me. i strike up a conversation on the obvious connections between chicken kabobs and the most important novel in american literature. or at least the whale therein. a quizzical look back at me. "it is named after a restaurant in teheran,"... More

We crammed into this packed restaurant one Friday for lunch. I'm still not sure why there were so many people there. The only thing I can figure is it was all their first time eating there like me. I didn't have an enjoyable experience here at all. I ordered a Kabob-E Chenjeh w/ rice ($10.99). This came with some yogurt... More

Every time I visit home now, I must eat here. This has been my favorite restaurant for almost 20 years. For the past 10 I have lived away from home and crave it, CRAVE IT, everywhere we go! I have not found it's match yet and we've lived and visited now just about every state in the Eastern half of... More

This is out go to place when we return home from a trip and want to carry in or just want a freshly prepared chicken kabob and salad. The bread is wonderful.
