I was really excited after reading the reviews for this place, but I was totally underwhelmed. It just seemed very bland. I got the Jo Sushi combo (chef's selection Nigiri), and I felt like it was just very average. It wasn't bad, just wasn't really good either. Service was excellent and had a nice glass of Sake.

average sushi. Nothing to write home about, with little flavor. Was simply not impressed with the sushi.

I can eat at most Japanese restaurants , except this one. They have a rigid approach to their dishes and cannot adjust them for patrons needing low sodium options.

Wonderful, fresh sushi. Tempura with a light, non greasy batter, great miso, salads served with dressing on the side without asking. Fantastic. I plan to go back often. Family friendly too.

Some of the best sushi in town in a modern atmosphere and with outdoor dining when the weather is nice. Never had a bad piece of sushi and the seaweed salad is outstanding.

Great bar tender, good menu, extremely fresh sushis, a bit pricy but well worth it if you re in. Mood for ushi our other oriental dish.

Tho hard to find in Chevy Chase, Sushi Ko was an excellent dinner choice. . .great friendly, helpful service and delicious food. . .only had sushi and rolls, but all excellent. We'll definitely visit again when in DC

We ate here for a family group event. We were in a private room with a group. Service seemed good, a bit slow but that was probably due to the size of the group. I had the steak and it was VERY good. Banana tempura dessert was great as well.

We are sushi LOVERS. We go to sushi houses over steakhouses. So when the time came to try Sushi-Ko, we were looking forward to it.
