I really liked my tuna tartare/avocado starter, though the cream of crab soup was disappointing; thin, little crabmeat and rather spicy. The garden salad was large and pretty basic. I'll definitely return to try more seafood entrees and their desserts.

Great waterside bar/restaurant with outdoor seating. Nice menu choices. It was a good place to stop in for a bite to eat or a relaxing cocktail. We were there at lunch time,

Three of us stopped here for lunch while visiting Chestertown for the day and we were pleased with our choice. Two had the quiche of the day which was fine but nothing special and the other had the ribs. The ribs were very tender & had good flavor. The service was excellent and we were so glad we listened to... More

Beautiful setting on the water in Chestertown. We had lunch, and the Monte Cristo was awesome, as was the chicken salad. Good coffee, too. The waitress had been there for some time, so was very, very good with extensive knowledge of the menu. Reasonable prices made the experience even better! Outdoor seating is available, and looked very pleasant if it... More

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Fish Whistle & they had no problem accommodating a dozen people. Get the chicken wings & make sure you ask for extra wet naps!

Fifty of us had dinner and the food and service was great. Kudos to Betty and Jeff for getting the food out and being very attentive.

We have stopped here twice now in the last two months whilst visiting the area and enjoyed it on both occasions. An excellent location with a view over the river and prompt, efficient service with an extensive menu. I must give praise to the desserts which, I was informed, are made in-house. The cheesecake was delicious. Would definitely come back... More

We took a walking tour of Chestertown and when we were finished we went to Fish Whistle for lunch. We sat in the bar near the windows which overlooked the frozen Chester River. We were cold from our walk and got drinks to warm up. We both got sandwiches and they were good. Nice place for a lunch on a... More

Cool location, cool name. There were 5 of us for lunch. Portion size was fine but there was little attention given to the quality and preparation of the food. The quacamole that came with the quesadilla was greenish brown and the oysters were pretty warm when they were served. The only good dish we had was the Mac and cheese.... More
