My husband and I had dinner here to celebrate his birthday. I ordered the rib eye which had barely cooked onions on top when they were supposed to be caramelized onions. I ordered it medium rare and it was served raw. I sent it back and asked for the rockfish stuffed with crab which was OK. The mashed potatoes and... More

This was our 5 New Years Eve dinner at the Bayard House restaurant and it was outstanding, as always. Chesapeake City was a light show by itself and the views of the C and D Canal from the Bayard porch were spectacular. Drinks, cocktails and dinners were expertly prepared and impeccibly served. Some of our group enjoyed delicious prime rib... More

Had a very nice Saturday evening dinner. Everything was decorated and lit for the holidays. Interesting menu, good food, and attentive service. Prices commensurate with the type and setting of restaurant. Town was all lit up and busy with candlelight tours of houses, and shops open, too. Lighting displays along the waterfront. A nice evening with my wife.

It was everything you would expect from a first class restaurant in the big city - except it's in a little village.Nice!
