As far as bars go, this place is very clean. Waitstaff is friendly and food is good. We actually left after we saw how much crabs were (not their fault-market) and they didn't give us a hard time. Very accommodating.

I've been here many times and always enjoy the food. But went there Saturday Sept 13, 2014 and was so disappointed. I ordered 12 jumbo crabs at $82.00 a dozen but I just knew how good they were it was going to be worth it. The first crab I opened was all mussy so I discarded that one & started... More

Visited in May and saw all you can eat Blue Crab. "How is this possible?" asked I. The waitress answered, "Louisiana Blue in the early summer, Maryland Blue after mid-summer". Crabs after delicious crabs came to our table until our arms were tired of pickin' and our tongues were tired of lickin'. Great service, can be a bit loud, but... More

A group of us went for true Maryland crab dinner. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered two dozen crabs total but the cook messed up and they brought us three dozen crabs and did not charges us for their mistake. The crabs were great, freshly cooked and delicious.

The hard shell crabs where very good, heavy and cooked just right, we also had shrimp and they where large. Ordered Fries, and Onion rings which came out good and hot.. There where 6 of us and we enjoyed the food, but the noise level was just extremely high, They had a party of 20 people who screamed, whistled, and... More

Not fancy. This is an old school crab and beer joint. The crabs were good but I felt a bit overpriced $56 per a dozen of #1s, 75 for a doz of Large. I split the order with another person. I enjoyed my first crab experience of the season but could not justify ordering another dozen. The city itself is... More

The Tap Room can be 3/4 star depending upon what you are looking for. If your aim is fine dining, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a traditional Chesapeake Bay meal, steamed blue shells, or Old Bay favorites you will not be disappointed. Their weekend specials are outstanding. The drink selection is a little... More

The tap room is away from the water and is what the name would imply, a nice little place for drinks and something to eat. Have been there three times for lunch, and each occasion it was during the week so it was not a problem to get a seat. The service was responsive, the food was good, and the... More
