I'm normally not a huge fan of French cooking but the opportunity to order several small dishes is a wonderful addition to their serving choices. This time we ordered the Pommes Frites, the best fries I have had since MacDonalds used to fry theirs in animal fat. (My apologies to Julia Childs.) Then we also had the mixed greens and... More

After reading the rave reviews and then getting high-class treatment from the wait staff as we arrived, I was worried that the relatively reasonable looking prices meant that the entrees would either be tiny or overrated. It turns out I didn't have to worry; the normal sized entrees were every bit as good as the reviews have said. The craft... More

Really has the feel of a French bistro. The Sunday dinner menu are all tapas selections. The meat selections were excellent. These were much larger than a tapas selection. It would be a large portion for a normal dinner entrée. We had the lamb and flank steak. These were cut up into bite pieces and we added a side of... More

This was such a great experience.........made a reservation because of Trip Advisor recommendations. Cambridge has many good restaurants for a town of its size.......but this is the best. We were visiting from a larger city but decided that this meal was as good as any we could get at home. Oysters were unbelievable....soaked in buttermilk and crispy fried and topped... More

What a wonderful find in a relatively small town on the Eastern Shore. Plus it's not even over priced. My husband and I thought our dinner was extremely tasty and done just right. There is, however, a potential downside. That is, even though the restaurant is small and is housed in a room with high ceilings, it can be relatively... More

A relaxed formality about this place that is turning out very good food indeed. A Classic bistro bent, great service and as it happens, we watched the Ironman competition ending up there...some of the earlier finishers were dining there as we sat down. Our next trip to Cambridge will find us right there! Go, don't even worry where else to... More

As local residents, Boplar Bistro is our favorite fine dining spot in Dorchester County. Ian Campbell is an amazing chef and the staff is beyond wonderful. We go there birthdays, meet friends, or when I just feel like wearing heels (although you don't have to dress up). You won't be disappointed.

We ate here on a tapas night. It was GREAT! They have a nice beer and wine selection too. We enjoyed a great spinach salad with thick bacon, steamed clams, and a petite french onion soup. If you order clams, ask for some bread as the sauce begs to be slurped up with bread. We had an amazing peanut butter/chocolate... More
