Stopped in here with friends on Saturday evening for drinks and appetizers. Everyone got different appetizers and we shared them all. They were all fantastic. Drinks were good, service was awesome. This place is a hidden gem right on the main street in Cambridge. The chef here is awesome! I would recommend this restaurant and will plan to eat dinner... More

Arrived at 9PM on a Sat eve after spending the day at BNWR nearby, were promptly seated. Very nice selection of specialty drinks, well prepared, tasty. Hot fresh rolls. Steak was done to perfection, medium rare. Frittes were some of the best outside France. Crab cakes were memorable, no filler, very little binder, fried gently to perfection, served with cherry... This lovely bistro is a gem in Cambridge, serving a limited menu of well - prepared dishes of fresh ingredients. The fish was very fresh and simply but expertly prepared. The duck confit was tender and authentic. One disappointment: the accompanying fried eggplant bites served to us were dried out and hard. Tip: try the French fries--they're crispy, tender, and... Nothing better than a very well trained staff serving delicious food. Last nights experience exceeded our expectations. Cambridge MD did not seem like the place where this jewel would be found, but there it was. A must for any traveler...outstanding!

We went during a thuderstorm - we were dead set on going for my husband's birthday. Very good again. The portions are still amazingly large for a Bistro. The duck confit is now coming with eggplant "fries" - small squares of fried eggplant. And i thought i liked the fingerling potatoes but these were really good - pretty light. They... More

We loved this place. We went on Sunday, which is Tapas night. Would highly recommend the bibb salad, the mixed greens with buttermilk dressing, the scallops, the frites, and the mashed potatoes. The ambience was truly that of a French bistro, and the service was warm and attentive.

I suspect this restaurant can be excellent. Our meal was good but not exceptional. We had a shrimp salad with pea shoots-prepared with asian flavors. the presentation was excellent but too salty for our taste. We tried a duck confit-again disappointing-duck was moist-maybe too wet and the skin didn't have a good crackle. The sauce was rich but not that... More

Had the oyster and pheasant apps. We should have split one, they were so large. Steak frites delish. So glad that it's still great every time we visit Cambridge.

We went here 2/15/14 for valentines day. We've been before and I was glad they didn't have a special valentines menu. The portions are quite large. I had the duck confit w chorizo as an appetizer and the scallops with miatake mushrooms. Dessert was a "cream puff"...Note..it's not just one cream puff!!! They're amazing!! The service is also wonderful.
