My Husband and I went to Snappers tonight even though we heard nothing but negative reviews from the locals about the seafood. We ordered burgers thinking no way the could mess up a burger but sure enough they did. A well done burger was sent to our table rare, we sent it back with a bite out of it. The... More

I am a native of Dorchester County and Cambridge. I also love to eat! Snappers is by far my favorite place to eat for a casual meal. The selection is so extensive you'll have a tough time deciding what to get! The crabby nachos are out of this world. The jerk crabcake is the best crabcake in town, bar none!... More

Visited Snappers on a Friday and was excited that they have a TripAdvisor decal on the door. When we walked in the restaurant the greeter simply said two people, without any expression or GREETING (greeter). I am a very particular about cleanness and service. My cousin had a wet spot on the table and asked the waitress to clean the... More

My husband and I recently moved to Cambridge and are trying out different restaurants. Snappers has good food - we haven't been disappointed yet. The service is iffy. The first time we came for lunch, it was great and the waitress was fabulous. We sat on the deck and had a wonderful lunch and view. We've been there 5 or... More

We decided to give this a try when we saw the green lights on the outside. It was 7 at night on a Sunday watching football from a dock side table and I ordered a burger cooked medium. It came out undercooked so I sent it back for another one not rare. The server was nice and said no problem.... More

The Tuna Tacos were very good as were the Conch Fritters. The Tiki Bar has real sand and Adirondack chairs to really laze in. Service a little slow but really, if you are there.....enjoy the time and don't rush.

Enjoyed the outdoor patio with a view of the drawbridge. The staff are friendly. The food was good and the prices reasonable. I really enjoyed the crab soup, delicious.

Had lunch at Snappers Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. What a darn pity because the location and views at this restaurant are wonderful. The food is another story and has been another story since it opened years ago. I always avoid going there because of the mediocre food but decided to try it again since I hadn't been there for... We have been regulars for lunch for over 5 years . Good food, decent service and improving this year. Kudus on shrimp salad sandwich, talapia sandwich, and chicken Chesapeake, - our favorites.

My husband and I visited Snappers for a meal after coming from a funeral. We were heavy hearted and were looking for a good meal and relaxed atmosphere. We had heard Snappers was good from the owners of the B&B we stayed in, but found our experience to be the worst we've ever had. The "Award-Winning" crab cakes? Ours were... More
