Good place in downtown Cambridge

My wife and I stopped in for a light dinner after going to a happy hour. Menu was innovative and the food we had was great with very good craft beers. Will go back again when in Cambridge to sample more.

I rarely leave an average review of a restaurant, but to rate The High Spot any better would be unfair to future patrons. The salad lacked any flavor of the grilled chicken or the greens. The crab cake sandwich had far to many shell fragments. The price was above and beyond the quality. I would not recommend this restaurant to... More

This restaurant opens at 11AM and a Web search showed it offered breakfast (not High Spot's site). So, we made a mistake by going early and expecting something like breakfast or brunch. The menu looked like an all-day menu with salads, starters and entrees, including light entrees, like burgers and sandwiches. We had the crab soup and the soup of... More

The restaurant was very accommodating to a party that grew fro 8 to 14 - our server was a dream, cool and professional! The food was tasty, with some presentation surprises. Nice atmosphere for a small family gathering, child and group friendly!

Went to get burgers at happy hour. Very good food, but service was a bit lacking on my last visit. I will continue to go and enjoy the rest of their menu items. I also got crab dip and was very impressed.

Visited the small but polished high Spot for lunch with friends. What a great find! Our server was perfect. Atmosphere was casual and collected. Menu well-curated, fairly priced and interesting. Everyone's food was wonderful; however, my meal consisted of The. Best. Burger. Ever. My words, not the menu's. Description is below; ingredients pretty much say it all. Other than a... More

Together with Chef Fanning, we created a menu selection that delighted our wedding guest. The service was organized and prompt, the food delicious and paired wines and beer made the dining experience an excellent choice for our intimate wedding reception.

We have dined at High Spot before and it was great. We stopped in for drinks when we arrived in Cambridge after fighting the bridge traffic to get there, on our Harley in 90 degree heat and humidity. The drinks were great and we were a little peckish so we got the deviled eggs app. Great little treats! After dinner... More

Had a great time here. Great atmosphere. Sunday offers 1/2 crab dip (lovely), discounted beer and wine (again great list with lots of variety). Got to be a bit noisy when filled. Everyone in our group enjoyed the meal. Had crab cake which was very good and the deep fried pickles.

The girl working at the marina dock said it was the best place in town, so we 8 headed up the street with stomachs growling. We were greeted and seated and nearly froze in place waiting for drinks as the AC was blowing full blast right on us. The beers were fun but I can honestly say that the Margarita... More
