Worth the price

My wife and I were looking for a good seafood place to eat and found this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide on what we wanted to eat. I had the fish and frites which was half of a Hadock filet. It was very light and very flaky. My wife had the crab cake... read more

This was casual dining w/ upscale quality. I enjoyed the crab dip and commented to my wife it was the best I'd had. She ordered the Goat Cheese salad I had a charred Romaine salad. Both lovely and way too big a portion for 1. Very intimate atmosphere.

Living in a small town makes for some interesting dining choices. There aren't too many places to go and after a while the menus get a bit stale. The High Spot's menu is a delight! Always such interesting combinations! And the menu changes seasonally, so there is almost always something new to try. The ambiance is fun and laid back... More

We stopped by on a lazy stroll sunday. They have specials all sunday long. Small place with a locals feel. The beers were cold and the crab soup was extra tasty. My husband got the buffalo oysters and was raving about them. Great place for a bite on a Sunday walk.

Whenever my wife and I need an Eastern Shore "getaway," lunch at High Spot in Cambridge is always part of our plan. We've eaten there many times and have had most of their lunch menu offerings. All of them have been really tasty. Their selection of craft brews on tap and by the bottle is pretty extensive, along with wines... More

High Spot has a great, varied, eclectic menu + a good selection of craft beers, wine, and my favorite - high end RUMS!!! It is a clean and comfortable spot with an outstanding wait-staff. We were there for lunch - the food was great - and the dinner menu also looks good. Quite a "find" in the middle of Cambridge!!!

The owner and chef is highly creative. He has two successful restaurants in Cambridge and a third one is coming. Innovation and great just to look at before the first bite.

have been here a few times but it seems the quality of the food is deteriorating; still good, just not as good as in the past. Grits and shrimp were nothing more than a bowl of grits, put some shrimp on the grits, put some bbq sauce on the shrimp = way overpriced for that. The multi-berry cobbler was good,... More

The prices are high end and the food choices are quality. The service is truck stop all the way. Not sure what all the build up is about!

Great beer (and cider) variety available. Menu had something for everyone with the usual eastern shore classics. I had a steak which was cook appropriately with a very nice sauce. Poutine was pretty good as well. We didn't have a reservation and sat in the pub side which was nice and not to noisy. Service was great. Nothing to remarkable... More
