We ate here the weekend of the Taste of Cambridge and we were pleasantly surprised at the fresh sophisticated fare in a casual atmosphere. In addition to the micro brews they have a nice wine list. Even with the craziness, the staff remained cool and pleasant. Will definitely go back.

Nestled in this sleepy town is a pure diamond of a restaurant! A no-gimmicks, no holds barred, cracker! We had a great time here, including our 8 year old even though there was every walk of life in here appreciating the excellent food, drink and wine! Clearly someone has put a lot of thought and time into creating this bijoux!... More

I love "craft" beers and prefer locally grown produce. The High Spot "hit the spot" for me with very tasty, healthy salads and delicious beers.

This terrific Gastropub has a menu focused on local fresh ingredients that changes almost daily along with an impressive ever changing inventory of microbrews on tap. The High Spot has a few sidewalk tables, and a separate quieter dining room in addition to the lively bar side. We ate several meals there and will go back whenever we are in... More

They have a great selection of food and the portion sizes are perfect. Not so much that you are overstuffed and not so little that you feel ripped off. After eating I felt very satisfied. Tastes great too!

My husband and I stopped by here yesterday for a late lunch. Neither of us had ever been before, but I always hear good things and my brother and his wife frequent the place so we figured we'd try it out! It was very easy to find. There was seating inside and outside, which was nice. My husband and I... More

Stopped in for a late lunch and was very pleased. Waitress was top notch.....she gave us recommendations for the spiciness if the fish tacos and had the meal we were sharing pre-divided onto two plates. Thank you very much! We shared the deviled eggs - excellent! And also the fish tacos.

Expensive, especially give the smaller portions. But a really good beer list, and all of the food was very good to excellent. The service on two occasions from the same waiter ranged from extraordinary the first time to a little slow and inattentive. The ambience is very good, set in an old storefront or bar downtown. Do be aware that... More

I stopped into High Spot for lunch while exploring the Eastern Shore. It's a well-designed and welcoming gastropub in downtown Cambridge. I sat at the bar and was immediately welcomed and served. I ordered one of their craft beers on tap and they had a nice variety of options for drinks and their food looked and tasted delicious. I had... More

We enjoyed our dinner at the High Spot. Some of us opting for seafood and others for other choices. We each enjoyed our draft beers. The specials of the day as well as the beers on tap are displayed on giant chalkboards on the wall. It was a fun place to eat.
