The owner and chef is highly creative. He has two successful restaurants in Cambridge and a third one is coming. Innovation and great just to look at before the first bite.

have been here a few times but it seems the quality of the food is deteriorating; still good, just not as good as in the past. Grits and shrimp were nothing more than a bowl of grits, put some shrimp on the grits, put some bbq sauce on the shrimp = way overpriced for that. The multi-berry cobbler was good,... More

The prices are high end and the food choices are quality. The service is truck stop all the way. Not sure what all the build up is about!

Great beer (and cider) variety available. Menu had something for everyone with the usual eastern shore classics. I had a steak which was cook appropriately with a very nice sauce. Poutine was pretty good as well. We didn't have a reservation and sat in the pub side which was nice and not to noisy. Service was great. Nothing to remarkable... More

Our second time eating here but was worth the 45 minute drive. Food and service was fantastic. Smoked salmon appetizer and prime steak frittes.........and Brussel sprouts. Wow they know how to cook them. Only drawback... If you are a martini drinker they charge an upcharge and very expensive...compared to Kent Island and Annapolis. Would still come back for the food... They literally were out of everything we asked for at 530pm. We asked if they had a vegetarian dish, we were told fries 🍟 lol. My little girl asked for cheese fries.we were told we dont have cheesy fries 🍟 but we can put cheese on them.? They came out with 20 pieces of shredded cheese on them.

Two different locals recommended the High Spot to us. My husband thought his steak and frites were excellent and I agree from a couple of bites I had. I enjoyed the baked brie. My only disappointment was the lack of a black tea. There are only herbal teas on the menu.

Crab dip, buffalo oysters, incredible burgers with smoked Gouda and truffle fries or seared scallops with pumpkin risotto and cinnamon cream sauce! Can you say YUM! Also best happy hours ever!!!

Food is sometimes really great but often only average. Becoming more of a pub than a resturant that cares about there food consistency.
