This is a local favorite for milkshakes and Boardwalk Fries when we don't want the drive and tourists at the ocean. Love that my dog gets a cookie when we stop by, too! The many bottles of classic and natural, hard to find sodas are a wonderful addition. Owner is nearly always on site and takes a... read more

Worst service I ever had and have never been so disrepected by any business to which I paid for service. I ordered cheese fries and when I got them there was some cheese, not sauce, as advertised, in the middle, a small amount on top and the bottom. I asked for more sauce and some small man with grey hair... More

Your review is not accurate and we have a video record which shows what actually happened. This was a terrible encounter with a difficult person. After receiving the cheese fries that she ordered, she dumped the cheese fries (with cheese on top and in the middle) upside-down into a food tray and complained that there wasn't enough cheese. Sensing that... More

Stopped here 4 or 5 times on the way to Baltimore. The hot dogs and fries are really good. You can tell the food is freshly cooked and the restaurant is very clean. Wish I could try all the different dogs. This place is doing it right.

I've only gotten ice cream here a couple of times but it is by far the best soft serve in town. Beats the pants off of Dairy Queen that's for sure!

Great selection of a variety of hot dogs. Veggie, all beef, polish sausage, etc. Custom selections include a Coney Island, Chicago, New Yorker or you can build your own. Each order is made fresh and hot and served to order. The boardwalk fries only compliment the great dogs! The shop itself also has great finds like their Pop Shop- a... More

We stopped here on the way home from the beach last weekend for a filler as we had a late lunch and had been meaning to stop here sometime as we drive by here all the time. We ordered the corn dog for my wife (she claims it's one the best she's had) and I had the Chicago Dog with... More

WHAT?? A hotdog place where they serve veggie dogs, with all the fixings topped off with fries and black cherry soda??? OMG I'm in heaven! Diet, I'll see you tomorrow. For the non veggies , their foot long hot dog is a must. With fries of coarse. Don't let this place go without at least a try. You'll be back.

I have passed Hot Spot Cool Eats for the last several months going to and coming from the shore for work. Today I stopped in. I had a great meal for the foods they advertise. The fries were great, my hot dog was fantastic, and took advantage of them carrying Smith Island cake and had a piece. I plan to... More

We heard this spot was good so decided to stop... I had the Oyster Puppies(oysters on a roll) and my husband had the hot dog with chili and fries. My oysters were the best breaded oysters I think I've ever had! Very cute inside, though we sat outside at a picnic table in the sun. Since they cook to order... More

Over 25 minute wait for hot dog and fries and the place was not busy at all. The hotdog tasted ok, the fries were soft and greasy. Not to mention overpriced. Not worth the wait!
