Go for casual, pub-style food. Wide selection, reasonable prices, good portions, cooked fresh while you wait. Good pub decor. The dinner menu is limited, and somewhat on the pricey side.Tasty, freshly cooked , and ample portions, just a little pricey. Staff always friendly and efficient. Good selection of beers.

The service was friendly but that's the only good thing I can say. We bought a groupon which forced us to use a menu that had 10 items all over priced. The dinner menu had better selections but we could not use that. The filet was over cooked and the buffalo chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Don't get the... More

Positive--a very friendly and helpful waitress. Negative--dark and dreary inside; the food was not very good and the prices were crazy high. Greasy food, hard rolls, and the final check total left us in shock. Not on our return to list...

We do apologize about your visit. We price our food based on the quality of the food we select and the portion size. We do not like when our food falls below the bar and disappoints are customers. We do hope that you will return again to give us a second chance. More

They claim to have the best crab soup and I have to say I agree. There had to be a whole crabs worth of meat just floating on top lightly dusted with Old Bay. It was delicious. The service was great, we needed just a quick bite and out waitress made sure we were in and out quickly. To top... More

We had a light lunch here. The cream of crab soup was very good but a little salty. One of my friends had the chicken noodle soup and she said it was REALLY salty.

Our family of 8 went for dinner. At first we were the only guests. The waitress was not very familiar with the menu. Also mistakes with drink and food orders. Fried oysters were good but overdone. Chicken sandwich was dry. The burgers were great, big and juicy. The cream of crab soup was very good. Overall good food, fair service... More

For a pub/grille, it was good enough. The kitchen/prep area is in the front...closest to the window...which means the kitchen is probably the best lit part of the establishment. 'Ambiance' lighting would be a fair way to put it. I guess the place was fine, but what's keeping me from saying better is that it was really, really, slow service.... More

This is a fancier restaurant and the food was great. It seems like a great place for special occasions. Great service, good food, but not necessarily for a casual experience...

We were in Cambridge with friends from all over Maryland looking for a good place to have dinner. Our hosts who live in Cambridge suggested Canvassback and reflecting on the meal they were spot on. I can't remember when I had a better time in a pub on a Saturday night! The crab cake special was very good the fries... More

My husband had never tried crab cakes so he decided he better-as we were in MD!. Awesome flavour and full of veggies the soup was a hit and the crab cakes equally good. But the favourite was the Double devil's food cake chocolate cheesecake triple decker. Tony should be proud of his restaurant.
