Wonderful vegan options, some we had never had before. All seasoned extremely well and not greasy at all. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We been several times now and it is our new "comfort food". Go and enjoy our local business...no need to go all the way to Baltimore or DC!

My husband and I used to travel into DC for Ethiopian food but this small strip mall restaurant will be our frequent stop in the future! The visit started out a little slow....only a couple people working and took awhile to get a menu. It was also difficult to understand the ordering process and not much help was forthcoming....so when... More

Yes, it's basically a small cafe in a strip mall. Don't let the looks deceive you - the food is great. I've grown up on Ethiopian in Adams Morgan, and this is just as good (Better? No, you still have to go to Silver Spring or downtown for that). Still, decent Ethiopian in the outer suburbs -- who'da thunk? They... More

Five of us went to this authentic Ethiopian restaurant to complete a family outing. Vegan meal, plenty of wonderful food. Samosas to begin, then the various selections on a huge like-a-pancake. Very tasty and filling.

OPINION: Please give a break to our last remaining -- and possibly struggling -- Mom-&-Pop restaurants! Anyone over a certain age can remember how a majority of American restaurants used to be: friendly, modest, non-gentrified, & NOT renovated. Just travel outside the Western World: In fact, Soretti's is more authentic; it might be regarded in most of Ethiopia as fancy.... More

I've eaten here many times over the last few years. The place looks like a cafe, so people may not realize they have really great meals. I usually always eat here for lunch during the work day. Service is quick, so I'm usually in and out of there in good time. The quality of the food and flavors are very... More

The people here are always so nice and helpful. I especially love the greens and the potato/cabbage dish they do, though everything is good. I'm so happy something this good is out this far from the city. Check it out, if you haven't!

Dining here at Soretti's is like dining with the restaurant's family. They are wonderful hosts. The meals are tasty and satisfying. While some foods are unusual for the normal American taste, I know they are well prepared and very good. Soretti's has a very clean and bright atmosphere. It is new and it is very comfortable. A unique dining experience.

We found this on Google when out-of-town family wondered if there was an Ethiopian restaurant nearby. The food was delicious, very savory, and not too spicy for our American palates. Service was very pleasant.

Soretti's is unique in that it's a good Ethiopian restaurant in an area not known for exotic cuisine. Went here for lunch on a weekday, no crowds. Service was quick and gracious. I had the beef and lentil sambusas for my appetizer. They were crispy and tasty and were made better with a savory vinaigrette as the dipping sauce. For... More
