Had steamed cherrystone clams. Clams were cold,waiter brought 1 cup of butter and 1 plate for 2 people to go with 30 clams. Ordered 1 Oyster basket and 1 Rockfish basket, that came with french fries and coleslaw. Went to Stoney's on Brooms Island the place is on the water, very nice. However, we waited too long for our waitress to come and serve us drinks. The drinks were too expensive. I have been to a lot of seafood restaurants on the east coast and Stoney's in the best hands down. The service is never that good because most of it is teenagers who really could care less. You do get your bang for your buck. The view is beautiful!! more

My 2 friends and I went to Stoney's last night for dinner. We had the crab dip, filet mignon topped with crab meat, crab imperial, and the seafood sampler. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!! I cant wait to go back. more

Cold food, slow service, server's responses were poor: Asked about the oysters - she said, "they all come from the same place" Asked about the cream of crab soup - she said "it comes out of a can anyway" Before they remodeled the place was ok, the food FANTASTIC, the service good. We stopped here on our way to Solomons for lunch. Sat outside and I had the doubler, which is a crabcake served with a soft crab on a roll. Crabcake was tasty but barely warm. My husband enjoyed his rockfish sandwich. Nice location on the water. more

We have been going to Stoney's for a number of years and the place just keeps getting better and better! Was there over the weekend for the Tiki Bar opening and even with 1 server outside and 1 bartender, we still received excellent service. I've been going to Stoney's on Broomes Island when it was not much more than a hole in the wall. The crabcakes were as good then as they are now. Have never had bad service though.
