We stopped in for lunch on two occasions, and both times had different items. All in the party were very happy with the food prep. The service was very good both times. Definitely recommend.

We live close-by and frequent the Old Bowie Town Grille. The cream of crab soup and the sandwiches are our favorites. There are rotating specials, a separate bar area and it is kid friendly.

OBTG is a neighborhood gem. The food is always top shelf and it reminds you of going into Cheers. Everyone of the management staff knows your name, your food, and your drink. It is truly a fun place to go.

We stopped by for a late dinner on a Friday. The bar was pretty loud and the noise definitely spilled over into the dining room. Our server Kevin was very attentive, but could use a bit of polish. We started with the Cream of Crab soup. It was pretty good. Not as thick as I have had in other places,... More

We've eaten at many of the restaurants in the Bowie area, and consistently return to the Grille. The food's quality is the best around (favorites are the wings, cream of crab soup, and salmon from the Get Fit menu), the staff is friendly and efficient, and the entertainment is always a treat. The owners, Bob and Theresa Thompson, are well-known... More

is very disturbing during dinner. Ordered cream of crab soup as appetizer with fried cod entree. Asked for soup first and then afterward the fish. Had only had 5 spoonfuls of soup when the fish arrived. Too quick. Soup broth was creamy, mildly flavored with a sparse sprinkling of crab - not lump. The fish, from frozen not fresh, was... More

Food was mediocre and the iced tea was brown water. Place was dark and dirty-looking. We sat in a booth behind a family with 2 noisy kids. The kids were all over the place and even occupied a separate table to play their games. The dining room could stand a renovation to make it more inviting. I will stick with... More

Went for Sunday acoustic open mic night, but food was good, too. Had a 9 and 17 year old with us and they enjoyed both the food and.music. A fun place.

Over the years, I've been a patron of this restaurant since it's close by to my home. More and more I'm beginning to think this restaurant neither wants nor deserves my continued patronage. Nearly every time, there is a problem of some sort, and I leave thinking I would have had a better experience at a chain restaurant. This particular... More

I don't go here for the food, but this place has great service and is one of the few restaurants in Bowie to have live music. Also, I like local places vice chains.
