Eat in the pub

There is very little ambiance in the restaurant. The newly renovated, updated pub is welcoming with lots of seating choices such as a table for 2, a private booth or seats at the bar. The food is very good American fare with excellent Maryland crab soup. Enjoy!

We live near Rip's and dine there perhaps once a month. My husband likes their open faced turkey sandwiches, and their dinner salads are OK. The place is kind of old and tired looking, and the wait staff is kind of spotty. Sometimes, they're right on track, and sometimes you feel invisible. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes, it's... More

Very old, but nice establishment. Staff is very nice and professional. Had dinner here last night for a birthday celebration. We had a very large party and the staff did an excellent job catering to us. The food was very good I had fried calamari and a caesar salad for my appetizer. The salad was very, very watery, the lettuce... More

I ate lunch at RIPS on Thursday, 3/12/15 at approximately 12:40 pm. Based on the treatment I had today I will give the following advice: If you are black and go to this restaurant with a white dining companion, be prepared to be ignored while the white diner is afforded every expected courtesy of a paying patron. I was never... More

Always nice to have lunch at Rip's. We have a lady in a wheelchair in our group and the restaurant is most accommodating in getting us properly seated.

If you are looking for consistent home cooking without the clean up, then come to Rip's Country Inn. The food is good but not remarkable. You see a lot of regular customers there and you are treated like and honored family guest. If you are looking for the flash and dash and bland food of a chain store, then this... More

The restaurant itself was quaint, warm and inviting. The management was willing to accommodate our large group and my daughter and my special dietary needs. The waitress however was a joke. We waited quite a while after being seated to receive our menus. When the waitress finally came, we all said we were ready to order right away. She promptly... More

I've recently eaten here on my way to and from BWI..once with my hubby and once with my 17 favorite people. Both experiences were great! Good food and plenty of it, a wonderful atmosphere, both romantic enough for a couple's dinner and accommodating for a crowd that included kids. We were made to feel very welcome in both circumstances. If... More
