Let me start by saying that I have never, in 63 years of life had a more exciting and delicious meal. Please just help me figure out how I can make a reservation? I have called for a date and leave a message and wait for a call back which I have not received. This is for a birthday celebration... More

The Grove Market (and Smokehouse) is hidden away on the eastern shore near Bishopville. The local foodies know the restaurant. That includes owners of second homes who search for good food away from the beach crowds. The restaurant is positioned in an old house, has an odd array of dining room furniture (lots of white plastic patio chairs) and views... More

My wife and I returned to Grove Market and had another incredible experience and dinner. The service was fantastic and our dinners were so delicious. My wife had the duck and I had the rockfish. It was without a doubt on of the best meals so far. We have been going to Grove for a very long time and it... More

I can only endorse what other reviewers have said. It is well worth the time to get a reservation. You call and leave a message on what days and times you could be available up to 14 days in advance. They call you back. We called the day before and lucked out and scored a reservation for 8pm the next... More

Tonight was our lucky night because we got a table for two because of a cancellation. The owner called my husband back to say she had a table for us! So glad we went. Dress is casual but nice. Atmosphere is eclectic, you almost feel as if you are sitting in a summer cottage from years past. The food was... More

Love. My favorite restaurant. My husband and I have been eating here for 11 years. Consistent and quite simply the best restaurant in our touristy area. Smoked salmon pate and tuna our favorites. Come and enjoy!!!!!

I've read many of the reviews and say what you will, nobody has no comment when it comes to the Grove. This was our second visit and I adore the set up, there are timed seatings, yes the chairs are plastic so get over yourself. You're coming for the food, and you will not be disappointed! The menu is recited... More

Grove Market might not be for everyone, but, then again, not everyone gets in. The reservation system isn't exactly diner-friendly (you have to make your reservation exactly 14 days prior to the hoped-for time of your dinner) but the food is phenomenal. The restaurant serves only beer and wine, but the quality of both are great. I was with a... More

Our second visit to this funky, charming little restaurant just outside of Ocean City. I called 8 or so days in advance, leaving a message with a few evenings worth of options, and I was able to get a table on my husband's birthday. I had the best salad of my life to start. It was mixed greens, topped with... More

We read the reviews. Reservations are essential and you will get a call back. But... well worth it. We were greeted by Leslie and had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. Our waiter, Bill, was engaging and fun. The only thing printed is the wine list!! We shared the homemade salmon pate. I had the crabcakes and my... More
