While the menu looks like what you would expect at a traditional Italian modern restaurant, several of the menu items have more of a vegetarian slant than Italian. For example, my Eggplant Parma was not the traditional kind (breaded, cheese and sauce) but more of a vegetable stew. It was good, just not what I had expected. It is not... More

Had dinner here Saturday night. They allow dogs on the patio - which is great for me. Had the Watermelon, cucumber, feta special salad and a margarita pizza. Salad was the perfect light summer salad. Pizza was great with a thin crust and very tasty. Service was fantastic - my dog had a bowl of water before I had a... More

We've eaten at many other Bethesda restaurants when I've visited the area but this one is fantastic. If you like pizza, GO! The selections are imaginative and prepared to perfection. We shared two salads for the four of us as starters and we loved the one with arugula and pears. The dressings are light and don't overwhelm the fresh ingredients... More

We were staying nearby and read the great reviews about this place and were not disappointed. Steating outside in front and inside in a large open space. Many choices of pizzas and pasta with interesting ingredients. We had a delicious, filling veggie pizza for $14 and a half carafe of sangria. Excellent service and Mia, the owner, spent alot of... Early evening meal. Good antipasto and pizzas. Our waiter was outstanding, very busy but friendly and prompt. Sit on the patio if possible.

While we love the food at Mia's (would rate food excellent), the service has been so spotty (poor) the last 3 times we've been there, that I feel hesitant about recommending it. If you have no time constraints, go for it. Otherwise, I recommend going at slow times, not at the rush of dinner time! The last 2 times we... More

This place was so good we went twice in 4 days! Go early if you don't want to wait-it's not that big, and it fills up quickly. Everything we ate was fresh, delicious and had a unique flavor. The owner was there both nights, keeping an eye on it all, and from the salads to the pizza to the desserts,... More

This is a great local place for wood heated, brick oven style pizza with a thin crust. We eat here regularly and have never had a bad meal. The owner is usually on the premises and keeps things flowing well. A nice place to eat outside on a warm evening or at lunch.

As I sit here perusing Tripadvisor for my late dinner, I find myself craving pizza from Mia's. I stopped in to Mia's for an early dinner yesterday. Their pizza was the highest ranked in Bethesda and the pics looked appetizing. Figured I get a pie, eat half and save the other half for later. Nope. Ate it ALL. Knocked down... More
