Very good alternative to basic breakfast

Pecan waffle was very good, service was excellent, staff very pleasant and value excellent, considering the restaurants in the area.

Short wait, great service, delicious food with large portions. Three of us shared blueberry pancakes, bacon, potatoes, & regular pancakes. We couldn't eat it all :)

Not too bad a wait for a Sunday. The food and service were great. We got an apple pancake, Reese's pancakes and I got the carrot cake pancake- all amazing but especially the carrot cake pancakes . How do they do this magic with? Well worth the wait but too bad they have to print the calories in the menu.... More

This little restaurant sits a little of the beaten path a couple blocks from the Hyatt Regency Bethesda. Full menu, nice breakfast atmosphere and normal prices.

We came here from a recommendation from a friend while visiting DC area. It is not too far from Washington D.C. but get here early otherwise you will be waiting in line. If you love Dutch pancakes & you have children you will all leave full & happy. That is what comfort food is all about no? The apple pancakes... More

I ate here one time, I may go back again to try it on a week day vs weekend morning. The tables were mashed together to fit as many people as they could in. Service was slow and food came out almost warm, but far from hot. Server did not return to the table once the meal was served other... More

Went on a Sunday morning. Did not realize it was such a popular place. We had a wait of 20-25 minutes for 5 people which wasn't bad. Large selection of waffles, crepes and pancakes. I got the Three Pigs in a Blanket which consisted of three sausage links with pancakes wrapped around them. So cute and so tasty!

The service was great. The eggs were cooked great. The bacon was a thick peice of bacon and seasoned and was cooked perfectly. The stack of pancakes were a Lil dry, but that was corrected with a small amount of syrup. The waitress was very courteous and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed both of our meals here over a 3-day trip. A bit crowded the first day, but it was Easter Sunday so that is to be expected. Weekdays, you can just walk in and get a table. Expect the usual pancake house favorites, plus a variety of more unusual items. Lots of crepe choices, omlettes, etc.. Portions are huge,... More
