I've been to The Pancake House dozens of times so I figured it was time to write a review. There is always a wait on Sundays but I'm always surprised by how quickly it moves. It's important to note that your whole party must be present in order to be seated. My favorite thing to get is the bacon and... More

The food was fantastic if you order the typical breakfast meal, eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes and bacon. I had the steak and it was very fatty and grisly. Our waitress was terribly clueless. I had ordered and she came back to me a few minutes later and asked what I would like to order. She placed a drink in front of... More

My daughter and I went to the Original Pancake House, she ordered blueberry pancakes and I order plain pancakes with bacon. The food was so bad we couldn’t eat most of it. My plain pancakes came out hard, as if they came out of a microwave or something. The bacon was burnt and very, very, salty. My daughter’s blueberry pancakes... More

Arrived to huge lineup on a Sunday morning but wait was only about 10 minutes, not 20 as we were told. Four diners, two adults, two kids, got a spacious corner booth. Lightening fast service. Everything was cooked well. We had pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast, nothing unusual, but so well cooked, nice and hot and fresh. It wasn't cheap, about... More

Huge portions of delicious food. Went for breakfast twice. We each got something different and gave each other samples. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. bacon was thick and crispy, anything with strawberries like crepes and waffles were great and the pancakes had chips in them AND on top. The staff is very friendly. Place gets packed but the longest... More

One of the best breakfast places in Bethesda! I love coming here for the eggs and of course pancakes. The strawberry pancakes are the best. Very friendly staff, everyone always has a smile and treats you like family. This is not a diner by any means, its more like a IHOP but more upscale and with a lot better food.... More

The price was a little bit on the pricy side, but I will have to tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. The Original Pancake house uses the best of quality in their presentations & we appreciated that. The sad thing was that we had a plane to catch so we had to rush a bit & good things as... More

My family of 5 went to eat here during our visit over the long July 4th weekend. It was late morning and there was no wait at all. Several other customers were already there and eating. We ordered within 5 minutes of being seated and before we knew it, the food was in front of us. I had the ham... More

This chain always delivers when you get the urge for a big heart breakfast. Huge pancakes served 100 different ways and styles. Monster omlettes with hash browns. Loud and boisterous family scene. Lines on Sunday. Worth the wait!
