We were seated right away for dinner. Service was poor. We waited over an hour for them to bring our food. The quality was very mediocre and uninspired. My butternut squash ravioli was white in white sauce served in a white dish. Couldn't the chef have sprinkled some parsley or something with color on it? Wine was undrinkable. We had... More

I have had several occasions to visit Cesco since my last review. I am happy to report that it has improved. There are many good items on the menu. They offer host of good salads and desserts, although you should avoid anything with a tomato sauce. The wait staff is ill-trained, but always courteous. The noise level is suitable for... More

It is clear that the people running Cesco have no clue how to manage a restaurant. The last time we went to Cesco when it was at its previous location in Bethesda, we had a reservation and waited for 40 minutes for a table, finally gave up and went elsewhere. I thought in its new, roomier location the management might... More

New beautiful restaurant in the former McCormick seafood space. Absolutely gorgeous bar space. Large and beautiful. Food experience was delicious. Wait staff were lovely. A lovely experience. Probably won' t return unless a special or romantic occasion.

Having dined at Cesco at its former location, we knew that service could be spotty in the evening. But lunch is a different matter. The staff were attentive, anticipating our needs. The menu offered a variety of interesting dishes, including a create your own salad (the one from column A, two from column B type). We wished we could have... More

I was sad when Cesco moved and disheartened to read all the bad reviews - Cesco had been one of "our" places and I loved it! I finally decided to try it for myself, with a friend. We had a very enjoyable meal. As for the food, it was delicious - I had special sweet potato soup and the tortelli... More

Made a reservation for a family birthday (4 people) - had to beg for a decent table, was ignored by the staff (on a Sunday night when the restaurant was one-third full!) and had a meal that was barely adequate. THEN we got a nasty message from Open Table saying we had failed to make our reservation! My 18-year-old daughter... More

Seated immediately. Food average and for price not that great. Service was poor, drink order missed and when waiter reminded took forever to get drink. slow to clear dishes etc from table. Before I would go back I will have to read many positive reviews.

This was by far the worst restaurant I have eaten at in the past few years. The waiter needed to be reminded of what and when to bring, the food was both undercooked and overcooked, and the meals came out at two separate times. Don't bother.

Recently Cesco moved into the Bethesda space vacated by McCormick & Schmick's. It has gotten off to a rough start. The baked breads that began our dinner was delicious, and the Pana Cotta that they served for desert was memorable, but everything in between simply couldn't measure up. The service was indifferent. In a large party on my first visit,... More
