delicious and fun evening

We had an excellent dinner Friday night accompanied by music and dancing. Everyone enjoyed what they ate including steak, fish, and pasta entrees.

We went as a family on a cold January night. The restaurant was not crowded and was quiet, both good things for us. We started with salads, I had arugula and my daughter had tossed mixed greens. Both were very very good. I had ravioli filled with chicken, spinach etc. It was quite good. Our daughter had pumpkin ravioli which... More

Friends made reservations here. They'd eaten at Cesco recently. They warned us to avoid one of the veal dishes and we did. Now I'm going to warn your readers. I began my dinner with the tomato bread soup - always a favorite. It was hardly like any that I've had before. There take on it had potatoes and carrots plus... More

If dining and dancing is your thing you will really enjoy this place . The three piece ensemble played salsa music very professionally. Accomplished musicians they even sang in latin at times. Loved the food very good chef. The food and wine were great . We had a very good time here. Easy parking in a attached parking garage.

the food was really pretty good, and the service was fine-it is modern in a building so while handsome not much atmosphere, but my ravioli was delicious, but seriously over sauced. We ordered a cake which was supposed to have fudge sauce and whipped cream but a very dry torte came out in stead which was rather dry, but dinner... More

So we came on Mother's Day and sat outside. It wasn't busy or crowded. The food was excellent. The osso buco was vrey tasty and 3 different appetizers were right on. As was the grouper. Unfortuately, the service was frustratingly slow -- the waiter disappeared for long periods of time. I'd go back regularly if they can tweak that little... More

Attended a group function with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for a substantial number of people. The décor for the whole place was very stylish, the attendants at the function were extremely attentive, the hosting organization had a nice selection of drinks, and the appetizers were quite good, especially a nicely battered jumbo shrimp, an excellent bacon wrapped scallop on spinach... We were seated right away for dinner. Service was poor. We waited over an hour for them to bring our food. The quality was very mediocre and uninspired. My butternut squash ravioli was white in white sauce served in a white dish. Couldn't the chef have sprinkled some parsley or something with color on it? Wine was undrinkable. We had... More

I have had several occasions to visit Cesco since my last review. I am happy to report that it has improved. There are many good items on the menu. They offer host of good salads and desserts, although you should avoid anything with a tomato sauce. The wait staff is ill-trained, but always courteous. The noise level is suitable for... More

It is clear that the people running Cesco have no clue how to manage a restaurant. The last time we went to Cesco when it was at its previous location in Bethesda, we had a reservation and waited for 40 minutes for a table, finally gave up and went elsewhere. I thought in its new, roomier location the management might... More
