Good food prepared excellently

The service is always good, the food flavorful and elegantly served. There is a nice selection of wine always available. However, I was surprised that the wait staff didn't know what a single malt was as I sat in the bar.

This is one of the best places to get french food in Bethesda. The food is very authentic and they have a great wine list. The happy hour deals are great although it gets crowded and sometimes is difficult to get a seat. For dining in the evening I would recommend making a reservation as it is always crowded. Lovely... If you are gluten-free, this is a safe and tasty restaurant. All of the food is consistently good, high quality and satisfying. The atmosphere is good with the feel of a local bistro even though it's part of a large restaurant group. Lettuce Entertain You is a Chicago based company and they deliver excellent food, service and dining points in... More

Great French bistro. Once you see the menu, your eyes will automatically gravitate towards the steak frites options, which are pretty good. However, I'm surprisingly more impressed with their soups and salads. The complimentary French bread is also pretty clutch. It comes into good use if you get the escargots (highly recommended). Dessert is another highlight. I had to try... More

A lovey French Bistro type restaurant in downtown Bethesda. The French bread was yummy and the entrees were very good. The manager came by to ask how everything was, and we received complementary dessert because we were a first time customer. It was a very welcoming restaurant.

We were looking for a nice restaurant for a birthday celebration and found it in Mon Ami Gabi! It came recommended from a local friend and didn't disappoint - high quality service, knowledgeable about the wine list and pairing suggestions. We shared the warm brie cheese as an appetizer, along with Maine oysters, which were delicious. The steak frites was... More

Had the best salmon I have had in very long time. Great atmosphere with live, light jazz trio - will come again for sure! Friend had chicken grand mere and loved it!

I visited Mon Ami Gabi, this past Sunday. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant, and the server. The menu was quite nice, and offered an extensive variety of dishes. However, I think the restaurant has over priced brunch items. I ordered a Quiche Lorraine, and it was not as tasty as I expected it to be. In summation, I... More

Go there for Happy hour and order the mussels and a side of Pomp Frits. You will not regret it! The sauce that the mussels are made in is sublime! Use some of their amazing home made bread to dunk! If you like crispy delicious French fries, this is also the place for you! They come in a cute little... More
