My wife and I went on a Saturday night. We have been here before. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. We shared the lentil soup which was excellent. My wife had the salmon salad which she liked but couldn't finish. I had the chicken grand mere which had mushrooms and bacon and mashed potatoes, also very good. This is... More

Having spent two weeks in France last summer, this is about as close as you'll get in Bethesda. We've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Steak and fish items very good. Service superb. House red wine excellent. One of our favorite spots for sitting outside on the weekends and people watching. Outside seating available at a closed-in... More

By far the most enjoyable dining experience in Bethesda, which has a number of good restaurants. The service is always impeccable, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere make you feel like you are in Paris - what more can a person want? Love it!

Very good bistró . It's not easy find good quality in rests in the states at affordable price. There's a lot of concurrence in Bethesda and MAG year after year keep on rockin'

My husband & I dined here with another couple. The restaurant is very pretty and cozy, and the service was excellent. I had tile fish and my husband had the scallops, both of which were very good. It was a very enjoyable meal.

Bethesda is an increasingly expensive place with increasingly sophisticated if less than five star restaurants -- it has a great many good to very restaurants and no memorable one - a great many four stars. Mon Ami Gabi is a cut above many of the other four stars in Bethesda. My instinct is to make it a five star since... More

My wife, son and I went to Mon Ami Gabi for the first time, having herd excellent reports. We were seated promptly, and the table was fine. The restaurant was quite noisy, but not a problem. We ordered the wine sitting on the table, and the escargot. The wine was very reasonably priced and the escargot was a perfect take... More

I brought a group of 7 colleagues for dinner. One had attic char and the rest of us had different types of steaks frittes. One guy didn't like his NY strip (it was too small and lacked marbling) but the rest of is were quite satisfied. My steak came with a blue cheese topping and was delicious. The service was... More
