Love McCormick and Schmick's...great seafood and service. I've been there for lunch and dinner and always enjoyed it. I think it's closed its Bethesda location -- or moved.

If you are a M&S fan, then this restaurant will please you, like all the others. But like the others I've eaten in, I find that the meals seem chain-like. A high quality chain, to be sure, but not homemade and not cooked to excel. More like cooked not to fail. This is also a very, very noisy place to... More

Went for family dinner with party of 10. Expected to eat together and enjoy tasty food. We sat for 2 hours before last person was finally served dinner. Others were served dinner three at a time every 15 minutes or so. Waiter attributed service problems to “problems in the kitchen”. Management didn’t seem to care. Food preparation was barely fair.... This was a very pretty place with very good seafood. Unfortuneately, it closed its Bethesda location right after we visited.

what a dump, went for group dinner, got hosed. steak was dry like a rubber band, spaghetti was cold and burnt at the same time. service was painfully slow and price was ridiculously expensive. save your money, you are better off at McDonald's.

Went in a group of 4 for the Sunday lobster special. We arrived on time for our 7 pm reservation. The waiter promptlyannounced they were out of lobster. He advised that if we wanted lobster we should come earlier than 6 pm or they will be out. He added they were also out of spinach. Shortly after ha added they... More

I have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Service is excellent. This last time I went on Christmas day, party of 10. Because one of our tables was severely rocky (a drink actually spilled as a result), 4 of our entrees were comped!!! Since they were unable to get another table or fix it, they comped... More

We held our Company dinner here and had a side room for about 30 people. We had agreed a limited menu and pre-ordered everyone's choice, and negotiated the wine price. Even so, at over $80 per head I felt the food and service left something to be desired. Initially the tables were set up as six tables for 5, but... More

We were looking for a decent seafood meal recently but left Mc and Schmick feeling disappointed and disagreeable. This was our fourth or fifth visit over the past several years and each one has been worse than the last. The menu looks attractive and exciting but the food is less tasty and lower quality than one can reasonably expect. "Lump"... More

My wife and I chose this restaurant because we liked the fact that it had plenty of different fish dishes. The restaurant decor is nice but not very fancy (people in shorts, kids were there when we went at night). My feeling is that this restaurant wants to make itself a "fancier" option to a place like Legal Sea Foods... More
