been visiting this place for years, since it was called Houston's. The ribs and crab cakes are exceptional. Portions are very large, prices are high...not surprisingly for Bethesda. Always packed, but they accept reservations for inside tables.

I don't know why it took me so long to eat at the Woodmont Grill, maybe because I tend to avoid chain restaurants. I was extremely please with the meal that we had. The waitstaff were friendly. I had the tuna and my boyfriend had the salmon and each dish was spot on. I guess the 4 stars is for... More

This is a converted Houstons. It was popular then and remains popular now. Good solid American food. Good location in the Woodmont Triangle with rare attached parking lot and close to Metro. Popular with work groups. Decent value for the money. There are better restaurants in Bethesda, some nearby, but you will spend a lot more money.

Woodmont Grill has fine food, excellent selection, reasonable prices, active and personable staff, all of which create an impressive evening or lunch. A small jazz band plays in the evenings, not so loudly as to make talking impossible. Good bar, too.

This was my first time at Woodmont Grill. It was a Friday night. We had to wait about a half hour to get a table. There were four of us. We began by sharing a spinach dip and a tomato and mozzarella salad. Both were very good. Then came my ribs. I have had great ribs before and expected the... More

Woodmont Grill is always reliably great. I've liked everything I've ever ordered there. Also like the atmosphere and the live jazz in the evenings. They don't have happy hour specials at the bar, so it's not the best place in the area for happy hour specials. (Mon Ami Gabi has great happy hour specials.) However, the food here is always... More

Upscale restaurant with little jazz trio in the evening. Reservations are best for dinner, not needed for weekday lunch. Whether you seat at the counter, or at a table, service is great! They have an outside area to sit, in front on the streetside. The menu is similar to the old Houston's menu it used to be, before the name... More

You can not beat the Woodmont Grill for the best Prime RIB. I go there almost once a week to eat and the service, food and live music is great! I also have had all their appetizers, which are great. They have a soup of the day, which changes with the season. They serve a heavier soup in the winter... More
