The place is medium size and has decent noise level so kid noise will not bother anyone. They have adaptations of booster seats that fit on high chairs...great for sitting in the booth. Kids menu has everything a kid needs. Burgers huge and good, wings meaty and saucy, big screens everywhere.

We came here for happy hour and sat near the bar area with our kids. I was disappointed with the drink specials. I would not go back for that. The apps were discounted but I do not know how much because my hubby paid the bill. I was most thoroughly surprised by the food. It was great bar food. We... More

Nice servers help you with drinks and some pretty good bar food. We watched one of the World Cup games at Brickside and it was a great setting!

Brickside is like every new bar in Bethesda, cool styling, expensive and nothing special about it at all. You pay for the Bethesda access with overpriced food and normal beers.

Nice eclectic atmosphere with lively music. Our food (burger) was good and the bartender went out of his way to make a special drink. Out server was super friendly and attentive without being overly in our face. In the spring they probably open up the front to enjoy the outdoors which would be great. Worth your time to check out.

I look forward to returning! Great local hang out, good music & friendly staff. My friend & I met up for drinks & appetizers at the bar. Bartender suggested Angry Orchard Cider on draft and WE LOVED IT! Food was delicious! Maryland Crab/Artichoke Dip and Flank Steak, caramelized onions, blue cheese crumbles Flatbread. One suggestion: cut-up the steak a little... More

I visited Brickside to catch up with a friend. Because we took about 10 initial minutes to catch up, the waiter did not come around our table much the rest of the evening. Food was good- good deals on week day happy hour.

Looking for a new restaurant to try in Bethesda, my wife and I happened upon Brickside Food & Drink. We were looking for al fresco dining in particular. Brookside does not actually have outdoor dining in the sense of a sidewalk cafe or a courtyard, but does have large windows that open out to the street--a nice resource when the... More

Popped in for an early dinner during happy hour after a month overseas. Bar staff was wonderful as ever, but the kitchen product had slipped since our last visit. Gazpacho seemed like watered down tomato sauce chilled with diced cucumber and peppers thrown in, no other seasoning. Previously dreamy orechiette with sausage and brocolini was bland with undercooked pasta. Dishes... More

I had a hard time with a rating for this place. I love the space - the brick wall, the open garage door windows. It does get a bit loud but I liked the energy. The service was great - no complaints there. The food was good - not great. My date had a chicken sandwich and it was very... More
