Italy in BTown

We spend three months a year in Italy. And when we are not in Italy, we cook like Italy and go out to eat Italy. Even in Italy we cannot beat the Happy Hour (every open day of the year) fare or prices at Pizzeria Da Marco. Half price bottles of wine, including a good Barbera from the Piemonte... read more

Crowded Friday evening (around 8:00 pm) with reservations. Chaotic atmosphere with a very mixed clientele from families to edgy twenty-somethings. Music choice catered to the edgier crowd. Very uncomfortable (hot and humid). Air conditioning was overstressed with all the doors and windows open. Not sure if the doors were open to cool the outdoor seating or to help dining room... More

The pizza is amazing. I don't know what else to say about it, except it's delicious. Their salads are good, too. Sometimes the put a lot of dressing on them, but they're tasty. The ambiance is casual, and the service is friendly. They have great happy hour specials -- $5 pizza, and I always need a box to take some... More

Went there for a quick bite after a long day of work, attracted by the promise of an "authentic napolitean pizza". That was what I (almost) got. Service was fast, thoughtful and really helpful. I went for the Margherita Clasica and the pizza was very good: thiner crust (which I really like), lovely tomato sauce; I would have liked a... More

I do like the pizza here, the pricing is in line with what one would pay for something similar in the area. The space is pleasant and very large (would like be a good place to book for an event). The servers are always pleasant and the manager/owners always seem so. The have a decent happy hour and great wine... More

I love Italy and this restaurant reminds me of meals I had there. The burrata is excellent, especially if you add the grilled eggplant, zucchini and bread. The antipasti platter with a selection of meats and cheeses is also wonderful. Actually you can make a meal out of these without the pizza. Their wines are excellent too. I am a... More

Visited with 7 friends for happy hour and dinner. Half price bottles. Wine was outstanding. Wasn't the one who ordered so don't know what it was. Just that it was delicious! Waiter was excellent. Took great care of each of us. Pizza was decent but not impressive. Had solo carne. Others had different selections. None remarkable. Antipasto was excellent.

Half price wine bottles on Wednesday, nice wine selection, great happy hour prices daily and $5.95 brick oven pizza at thee bar. Pizza was excellent. Save room for dessert because the cannoli is very good.

The restaurant has great decor and tablecloths with butcher paper on top. Too bad the pizza doesn't match the quality of the decor. We ordered one mushroom and one onion pizza. The crust is great, but the tomato sauce and toppings were just average.

Maryland brick oven pizza with pizzazz. Coming from a New Yorker who whenever gets a chance to do brick oven pizza is always game, this place has it going on. Excellent.
