Whenever I think about revisiting Chef Tony's, that scene from "Dirty Harry" pops into my head, in which Clint Eastwood points a gun with an indeterminate number of bullets remaining at a man's head and asks "Are you feeling lucky?" One thing is certain. You will pay a hefty bill. Everything else is a crap shoot. For example, if you... More

Waiter was not interested in taking care of us, saw the water attendant more often than the waiter. I thought he was the waiter but we were the ones who waited. Food was very good. Go if you have a lot of time to spend.

We came for brunch, my gf ordered the salmon which comes with plantains (one of them was 100% rotten) see the picture I added. I ordered the steak and eggs, got 3 tiny pieces of over dried flank steak and I ordered it medium (see 2nd pic). The worst thing in restaurant is that moment when you have a doubt... More

Went with a party of four. The other couple used a Groupon coupon and so the meals were only $20 dollars each for three courses. The three course pre fixe menu is pretty extensive and had everything on it I wanted. I got a marinated anchovy and pepper appetizer, entree of monk fish, and tiramasu for dessert. All was wonderful.... More

Since we had gone there for dinner before, we thought we would try their them for brunch. The menu had nothing really special, but I usually get an omelet and they had plenty of choices.. We were seated immediately upon arrival in a nice cozy spot. however, that is where the great experience ended. the waiter had obviously had a... More

The coupon is used with a special menu, not the standard menu. It was an excellent value. Choice of Appetizer, Main and Dessert provided numerous options. Caesar Salad was very good. The trout was excellent. Crème Brulee was also good.

My wife and I had dinner there last night and the title says it all: "Great seafood, cozy atmosphere, creative dishes, excellent service". This is a charming little restaurant that Chef Tony has made excellent use of space. Our server, Daniel, was one of the friendliest we've ever had, and his recommendations were great! All the seafood is prepared fresh... More

We went there for the first time with a groupon purchase. As it turned out, we were allowed to order main course from the regular menu with a $5 surcharge. This was a great deal, as my husband liked bronzino and it was not on the 3-course menu. Everything we ordered was very good, particularly the bronzino. The 3-course group... More

I bought a Groupon for $40 that entitled us to a three course meal for two! We went on a Thursday night and the place was full. It is a small restaurant with many tables for two. We were seated near the window into the kitchen, not great but easy to find our waiter! As other reviewers have noted, Chef... More

Our son and his wife live in Bethesda and this is the "special" place we love to take them whenever we come to visit. They enjoy it so much that they dine here on their own too. The menu changes every day and the food is is always fresh and imaginative, beautifully served. We are all fish eaters and there... More
