Oh, this place is great for lunch. Falafel platter with a side salad, hummus appetizer. YUM. And servers are always friendly. The only thing they could maybe improve on is the pita bread, it is thin and tends to get dry and hard after it cools down. Not that that stops me from finishing it...

This small, friendly restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and carefully chosen, carefully prepared selections. The wide selection of appetizers amount to a meal alone; wonderful flavors, and a nice variety reflecting serious Middle Eastern cooking. Every visit we've made has been rewarding. I specially appreciate that the owner pays attention to his guests, and regularly asks for suggestions--just as... More

Lebanese food has many imitators in the DC metro area, and this single cafe (small, simple) is a real deal. The menu has some highlights, especially anything with LaZeez spice blend, with lamb chops and herb potatoes a stand out. Love the lubbna (think Greek yoghurt.). It's a regular place for me and friends.

This very small restaurant tucked away in the upper reaches of Norfolk Avenue is well worth a visit, because the food is always fresh and really zesty. The cuisine is Lebanese/Mediterranean, with delicious kebabs and great salads. Plenty of choice for vegetarians ....the 10 appetizers, including fava bean saute, fettoush and tabbouli all have plenty of garlic, lemon and cilantro... More

In my opinion this place has the best Mediterranean food in the area. Their kebabs are very well made, are great tasting and come in generous portions. Service has always been excellent as well.

This is a local's favorite. It is not a chain, but rather, a family owned and operated bistro. The food is wonderful and authentic and fresh. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but there are not many tables. It does have outside seating which is great when the weather is nice. You could easily walk by it and not notice.... More

Bistro LaZeez is a fine café located in downtown Bethesda. I can rely on their high quality, reasonably priced Mediterranean cuisine. The bistro is well-decorated and maintained. I recommend the chicken kabab as it is a generous protein portion.

Lazeez has excellent quality food and the place has a modern feel. From what we have seen, might need more space as it is quite full at meal times. Lunch sandwiches are tasty and a great value. Dinner is also excellent, although probably a tad expensive. The price would make sense in a slightly bigger atmosphere. We will revisit often... More

We stopped here on a lark since the outside sign board had two specials--lamb chops and cornish hen--and a half price bottle of wine. It was not only excellent but cheap--less than $60 for the two of us. It was a pleasant evening and we sat on the small patio watching folks go by, like in a Paris cafe. Service... More

I wanted to like this place. I bought a Living Social voucher 3 months ago, and was excited to finally use it. Went at the beginning of dinner service, and there were no more than 6 tables occupied, so they weren't terribly busy. The waiter finally came to the table after 15 minutes, curtly took our orders and we never... More
