We had a groupon for the restaurant and decided to give it a try. We had read reviews and had a good idea of what to expect, but our expectations were exceeded at every step. Charming decor, friendly staff, service on plates and dishes that had some panache, and great food, all prepared and served in an atmosphere that let... More

We went out with our friends to Bistro LaZeez on New Year's Eve. We selected our meals from a pre-set menu....tabouli and humus, salmon with Mediterranean polenta, filet mignon with roasted potatoes and ended with a pistachio ice cream...amazing - superb!

Shared a meal with my GF last night at Bistro and thought it was a very charming little restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the fattoush salad and the hummus. The wine list was reasonable. Wait staff were very attentive but not overbearing. Daniel was especially engaging and made the evening fun. There are many choices in Bethesda, this should... More

This is a small, causal, but clean restaurant with a modern decor / ambiance that serves mid-east cuisine. It has about 15 small indoor tables, and several tables out front as well. No need for reservation for a parry of 1 or 2. On a Friday evening the place was full. Two waiters were stretched thin, but we received an... More

Tuesday lunch and we were only ones there from 12pm to about 12:45. Hope this isn't normal for them cauz it is a cute little place. Seating out front too. Prices seemed about $2 high for each meal but I am not from Bethesda and I suspect that is the reason. Not a big deal. I was psyched to order... More

This casual little restaurant has its regulars who love the owner and the chef. We ate with two such regulars who chose Monday because of the special salmon with the chef's special sauce. Monday also featured half price on some of the bottles of wine; our Pinot Noir was rather harsh. I found the fish rather dry, despite the thick... More

Oh, this place is great for lunch. Falafel platter with a side salad, hummus appetizer. YUM. And servers are always friendly. The only thing they could maybe improve on is the pita bread, it is thin and tends to get dry and hard after it cools down. Not that that stops me from finishing it...

This small, friendly restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and carefully chosen, carefully prepared selections. The wide selection of appetizers amount to a meal alone; wonderful flavors, and a nice variety reflecting serious Middle Eastern cooking. Every visit we've made has been rewarding. I specially appreciate that the owner pays attention to his guests, and regularly asks for suggestions--just as... More

Lebanese food has many imitators in the DC metro area, and this single cafe (small, simple) is a real deal. The menu has some highlights, especially anything with LaZeez spice blend, with lamb chops and herb potatoes a stand out. Love the lubbna (think Greek yoghurt.). It's a regular place for me and friends.

This very small restaurant tucked away in the upper reaches of Norfolk Avenue is well worth a visit, because the food is always fresh and really zesty. The cuisine is Lebanese/Mediterranean, with delicious kebabs and great salads. Plenty of choice for vegetarians ....the 10 appetizers, including fava bean saute, fettoush and tabbouli all have plenty of garlic, lemon and cilantro... More
