Terrific Lunch Spot for Entire Family

Yummy sandwiches and salads, all made to order. Soups tasty too. Try chicken tortilla. Nobadeer sandwich, with carved turkey, cranberry and stuffing is one of many musts. Sandwich places are a dime a dozen, most with the standard, forgettable fare. Jetties, however, rises above the rubble. I've tried most of their standard, pre-programmed sandwiches and have yet to disappointed. Each sandwich has top quality ingredients and is a careful blend of complimentary tastes and textures. Its a mob scene from 12-1:00 weekdays, for good reason. Anytime before... More

Okay, I actually crave this sandwich: the turkey breast is sliced warm off an actual carcass, placed on slices of delicious multigrain bread with extra romaine lettuce and very little mayo. A turkey sandwich too die for!! Many other equally great menu items. A MUST TRY!

Heated Pocomo sandwich, with butternut squash, portobello mushrooms and goat cheese is phenomenal if you're looking for a meatless sandwich. Straight Wharf salad with turkey strips is my favorite. I have tried several things on 3 different visits and all types of items were really, really fresh and delicious. High quality with prices to match - but you get what you pay for at this establishment. Also, it is also a very neat and tidy place, even at busy lunchtimes. The bathroom is one of the cleanest I've used... More

I love their sandwiches, although truthfully everything in this area is overpriced. That is a Bethesda thing, not a Jetties thing - so I can't hold that against them. I gave them an average rating for the service I have received. We order lunch from them for work lunches and things of that nature. I would say about 45% of... More

This small chain (four locations in the Washington DC area) has a selection of salad and sandwich choices that provide interesting combinations of ingredients and, at least for the half dozen I have tried, are delicious. For those who have visited Nantucket, the decor and the selection names will remind you of your visit. My favorites are the "Great Point,"... More

Excellent place for lunch in Bethesda. New England themed with sandwiches that are much better than the usual turkey, ham or RB. My wife and I split one- they are good sized. Also have salads and ice cream that I'm sure is probably top shelf.

Love the Nobadeer sandwich. Freshly carved turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Yummy! It's huge, and I usually save half for the next day. Obviously it's not as good the next day, but it's still delicious.

I love this place, it's an easy place to meet for a casual lunch and the food is so good. It really is a hot spot at the lunch hour and there's good reason. Nice gem amidst more pricey options around Bethesda.
