The whole tandoori chicken was superb!! Moist inside with a nutty crisp bite on the outside laying on a bed of grilled onions and carrots. I was taken aback with the subtle flavor and aroma. Although Babbu, the manager almost forgot to take our order as we sat outside for an early dinner. We almost left.. They made it up... More

Lovely setting, great Bethesda Row area. Appetizers were a bit drab, but the entrée, Chicken Korma Kashmiri, was excellent. Prices are reasonable, service was very good and quick.

For dinner before a movie, the slow delivery of food made us worry we would miss our show. The appetizer was not very enticing: pressing on the Pakoras with a fork yielded a small pool of oil that anticipated the greasy taste of the (mostly fried) Assorted Platter. In the same shared dish, both the Chicken Tikka and the Lamb... More

we all had different courses. I had the chicken tikka and it was amazing. my husband had the tandoori chicken - he isn't too adventurous when it comes to food. he enjoyed. the other two had curry - chicken and tofu. loved them. would go back again for sure.

Service great and requested our curry's to be spicy spicy! On both visits this was perfect! The goat curry and shrimp jalfrezi were very tasty and would recommend.

My colleagues and I went for lunch, a group of 11 people... we all had one trip to the buffet, and drank water. Really good food, but, aside from the waiter bringing us one basket of naan, there was no service involved. Yet they charged us 18 percent gratuity!! That is a great tip for even outstanding full service... quite... More

Our group of five enjoyed the food and ambience at this Bethesda restaurant on a recent summer night. The interior is a jewel with turmeric-colored walls with saffron-colored accents and glimmering black tabletops. Service was prompt and consistent. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer though it was stingy on the calamari. A novelty was the spinach appetizer--it reminded me of kale... More

I enjoyed my dinner here. I came here with a coworker. We got a variety of kabobs and naan. We also got an eggplant vegetable dish. All dishes were delicious and enough to split between two girls. The waitress was so nice. We didn't like one waiter who was pretty standoffish. I think he just misunderstood us. Overall it was... More

A stylish restaurant with a large menu, good prices, and attentive staff. The food was ready quickly and reasonably priced. There is no children's menu, but enough variety that we could find a nice mix of dishes that satisfied everyone. Two adults and three children spent $57 (before tip) on 3 main dishes, 2 orders of Naan, and 1 order... More

It was one of our best Indian night out. We have lived in places where Indian food is the food of the nation, so we know what good Indian food taste like. We all loved the food and thought it was very close to the real thing! Will go back again! Enough to choose from, even for our vegetarian daughter!
