I can't be say too much or too little. There was not any too but it was good. A couple of things were negative: the server was a bit over confidant and the hostess smell of cigarettes. However, the food was good enough to bring everything into the middle.

We dined here on a very cold evening and the restaurant was pretty empty. It's a cozy room and the food was fine. The server was borderline rude and we probably should have left but it was cold outside. Never again!

Charged us $49 for a below average Cote de Rhone that retails for $8.95. Tried to up sell us to a $100 bottle saying it was slightly more. Service was poor. Took Almost an hour to bring dinner. Two of the four dishes were poorly prepared. Duck was served on a bed of lukewarm been and sausage. Filet was overcooked... More

Basically, this restaurant delivered delicious food with poor service. I thought they had brought in first-year students who were hospitality majors from a local college. Rather than informed you in advance what menu items they were out of, our waiter played a game of "sorry, we are out of that". In addition, rather than run the two credit cards we... More

Went to this restaurant with a friend and ordered Arugula Salad, Butternut Squash Soup and Pan Seared Duck while my friend ordered the House Salad and the Grilled Salmon. I have tried better arugula salad in LA and i think they should have put more Goat cheese. As for the Soup it was very good but my friend had the... More

We went to dine at this restaurant and we liked the food very much. My husband and I had fish ( trout and salmon) and both were delicious, salads were fresh and the tart with ice cream was also delicious. The food is a little pricey but French food is usually is. I will recommend the place.

Marriage is a wonderful thing when friends and family gather from across the country to celebrate your wedding. So those that came, 27 we treated to brunch after the wedding at Woodend Audubon Sanctuary at Brasserie Monte Carlo in Bethesda, MD. The restaurant is small, but nicely decorated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding.... More

When I approached the restaurant, it didn't look like the food would be the best. From the outside, I was almost ready to turn around. However, the inside was descent, so we stayed. Everything was excellent in this place from the hot bread down to the tiramisu. We ordered the butternut-squash soup, onion soup. (Excellent), Rockfish (Excellent), Codfish (Excellent) ...... More

We were a party of 6. We had to wait for 30 minutes to get a glass of water. There was one person taking care of all of the tables. We asked 4 times for a basket of bread and it took us 2 hours to get our food. We will never go back.

My boyfriend & I bought a Groupon on a whim, and went to Brassiere Monte Carlo for the first time. Outside, we weren't very impressed, since the exterior looked somewhat run-down & outdated for this trendy Bethesda neighborhood. Inside, however, was a completely different story! It was rather small & charming, with a window that wrapped all the way around... More
