We've dined here three times, most recently with two friends. The menu is quite extensive for such a small (perhaps 10 tables) place. Wait staff is knowledgeable (about the food and the wine list) and quite friendly. The prices are typical for Bethesda, but availability of Groupons can reduce the price by about 33% if you are careful. This is... More

It is a typical French type Brasserie with good and interesting menus. The food if very well coked, the service is great. The only negative impression was of the bill. It was of European level not American one. But it is Ok for some special occasion.

Its a cute and even charming place. A nearly empty restaurant in Bethesda at 7:00pm on Friday night was a surprise, and I guess a clue. The hostess and maitre de were exceptionally friendly and pleasant as was the only other wait person there. I guess that was the problem, just not enough people to cover the inside and outside... The price I paid for this Mother's Day meal was just too much. The butter with the rolls was very hard, the pork chop I ask for at medium was very well done and tough (it would have been nice to have a steak knife). Add to this having to ask for silverware when our forks are taken with our... More

I can't be say too much or too little. There was not any too but it was good. A couple of things were negative: the server was a bit over confidant and the hostess smell of cigarettes. However, the food was good enough to bring everything into the middle.

We dined here on a very cold evening and the restaurant was pretty empty. It's a cozy room and the food was fine. The server was borderline rude and we probably should have left but it was cold outside. Never again!

Charged us $49 for a below average Cote de Rhone that retails for $8.95. Tried to up sell us to a $100 bottle saying it was slightly more. Service was poor. Took Almost an hour to bring dinner. Two of the four dishes were poorly prepared. Duck was served on a bed of lukewarm been and sausage. Filet was overcooked... More

Basically, this restaurant delivered delicious food with poor service. I thought they had brought in first-year students who were hospitality majors from a local college. Rather than informed you in advance what menu items they were out of, our waiter played a game of "sorry, we are out of that". In addition, rather than run the two credit cards we... More

Went to this restaurant with a friend and ordered Arugula Salad, Butternut Squash Soup and Pan Seared Duck while my friend ordered the House Salad and the Grilled Salmon. I have tried better arugula salad in LA and i think they should have put more Goat cheese. As for the Soup it was very good but my friend had the... More

We went to dine at this restaurant and we liked the food very much. My husband and I had fish ( trout and salmon) and both were delicious, salads were fresh and the tart with ice cream was also delicious. The food is a little pricey but French food is usually is. I will recommend the place.
