You might not think much of this café from the outside. It looks like a wine store - luncheonette fusion. But the food is really good. Crab cakes are excellent and the gelato is dreamy. You can either order at the counter or have waiter service. There is a separate gluten-free menu and take-out GF food to purchase.

Best gelato in bethesda. We always come for dessert whenever we eat in bethesda. Haven't tried anything else, but the sandwiches look good.

Let's face it - most gluten-free bread tastes like sawdust. Pastrami and Swiss on a gluten-free baguette was delicious! The café has a retail wine shop, and you can buy a bottle and open it there for retail price plus corkage. None of the 3x or 4x markups that are so common in the DC area.

We love Lilit. It is one of the few places that we all can enjoy. My husband and daughter eat from their regular menu and I eat eat from the gluten free menu because I have celiac disease. They are very careful to avoid cross contamination. The gelato is awesome.

Lilit Cafe is a family run place with a great extensive Gluten-Free menu. One of my favorites in Bethesda.

We LOVED Lilit Café! This was just what we needed! We were staying nearby and found that it was very difficult to cook gluten-free in the very crowded kitchen of the people we were visiting. We all had a great lunch there (loved the crabcakes!) and then came back for take-out for my daughter the next two days! My daughter... More

I wanted to check this place out based on the Yelp reviews. Its a little cafe in a beer/wine store or others might say a beer/wine coolers in a cafe. Its more a casual deli-style place. Decent menu with lots of gluten-free selections. You can browse and buy a bottle of wine from the wall coolers or order off the... More
