This restaurant is in the Wildwood shopping area in busy Bethesda, right across the street from Democracy Blvd. The atmosphere was quiet, small tables, rather jammed together (if there are only two of you.), and chilly inside on a bitter day (had to keep my coat over my shoulders). However, the... read more

Three friends and I went to Oakville for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We were the first ones to be seated. The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated, surprising in a strip mall setting. Our server came over promptly to take our beverage order, and another staff member brought each of us a selection from the bread basket. Both bread... More

By the name, I expected something very casual. This is more a white tablecloth restaurant. Most people at lunch were dressed in business wear. The prices were ok, tending to be a bit more expensive than, again, the name might indicate. The food was quite good, my entree salad was very fresh and well prepared with an interesting dressing. My... More

This cozy suburban restaurant in the upscale Wildwood Shopping Center is always reliable. My sister treated me to a birthday dinner last week. We ran into neighbors who were dining there, as well. The menu offered a nice variety of entrees and as everyone ordered something different, it made sense to order wine by the glass. Fortunately, the selections were... More

I've heard great things about this place, and decided to take a colleague out for lunch. We ordered salads thinking they would be quickly prepared and served. But that was not the case for us, unfortunately; we were also fighting with a pesky food fly and couldn't convince one of the employees to help us rid of it.

Creative menu with good selection of seafood and salads. Service extremely slow. Wait staff took over 15 minutes to take order. There are much better choices with better value and ambiance in the Bethesda area.

My mom and I wanted a nice lunch and stopped here one day. Their lunch salads are awesome. Fresh, great ingredients and we walked away feeling full and very happy. We also have gone for dinner and the food was as good then too. I wish I had a reason to go here more often but it's a little higher... More

There is a reason they show you a picture of their ceaser salad. It is the best. I have never had anything like it. The shell and dressing are like everything, tasty and unique.

My wife and I were out looking at cars one night and decided to stop for dinner on the way home. Oakville Grill is a convenient place for a good meal though I think it is a little overpriced. I started with the Duck Eggroll, which was fried kind of hard. Makes me think they were frozen first. Otherwise they... More
